We came for lunch. The lobster rolls were excellent. The fish taco tasted unique with cilantro, radish and lime. The fish taco definitely had its own personal "kick" that made it taste very special.
Highly recommend it.

Great seafood restaurant with most seats outside. Good oysters, West are better than East. Limited wine list that could be improved

The food was very tasty, perfect flavors! Service was friendly! Timing was good and the price was not overwhelming ! We shared all our choices; bluefish pate, ceviche, mixed greens from local market, and fish and chips that was tasty and not greasy. ! Fun time!!!

Only popped in for a glass of wine and a couple of Oyster and ended up spending the evening there, excellent service amazing food and fabulous tunes would give Wright brothers in London a run for there money I would actually say overall much better.

Great neighborhood joint, very simple. Food is good, a bit overpriced for what it is but in general a good place to visit.
The reason for 3 stars are the sanitary issues. Today, I ordered a coke from the shift manager. I didn’t notice a lipstick stain on the rim of my glass. When I brought it up, he dismissed it with a joke: ‘ it matches the color of your shirt.’ Humor aside, I was surprised by the lack of concern from a member of management. Perhaps a visit from the health department is in order especially since they handle seafood...

I came back here for dinner last week. We had some oysters to share which were great. My main dish was clam linguine. Incredible flavor and the chef is not afraid of salt or heat. Delicious and would go back tomorrow for the same dish.

A little overpriced and the Lobster roll was good but not great. The real stars were one of the specials of the day, a soft shell crab sandwich and the fish stew. I also took the waitress' advice and added some Louisiana hot sauce to the stew - yum! Great idea!

Friends met up on a Sunday late morning for what was claimed to be the Best Lobster rolls anywhere. The staff was able to accommodate our party at the corner table and we proceeded to enjoy fresh oysters and wine to start. The selection of oysters was from MA, RI, and CT and all were delicious. We then all ordered the Lobster Roll and a bottle of Chablis to accompany what proved to be an amazing Lobster Roll. There are a variety of items on their menu and the restaurant was busy with people ordering but we were there for Lobster Rolls and it was worth the money. There is also a fish market in front that was busy as well. If we lived in the neighborhood this would be a favorite spot for an easy evening meal. Greenpoint is lucky to have them.

In Williamsburg and Greenpoint there has been a SURGE of restaurants and foo-foo cocktail bars that all seem the same. They want to be different but can't. When you sell seafood - you are different. I walked past this place and saw the fish prices and laughed cause I can go 10 blocks away for cheaper prices. But we tried the fish it was good. Then we went in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. They have fish tacos with about 7 different fish. Fresh oysters and good beers. It is a bit pricey but that's sadly everything here. I will be back and maybe if it's in my budget and they have clams - go for 12 dozen at one seating. I'll start saving that money now.

Great mussels, and a nice special with tuna. The steelhead trout was also very good, with the sides perhaps a tad salty. The meal was enjoyable and would come back, especially for a late-night meal.

After reading the TripAdvisor reviews, 4 of us went to Greenpoint Fish and Lobster since it was within walking distance of our hotel. The restaurant/fresh seafood store is small and very clean. It did not even have a bad, fishy smell.
We went during happy hour for their drink and oyster specials and sat at the raw bar with seating for about 8 people. Additionally, there are about 4 small tables for guests.
The staff was very good. They provided excellent recommendations regarding choices of oysters on the half shell and wines by the glass while being attentive and prompt.
I started with a crab cake while husband had a dozen of several types of oysters, and our friends had steamed shrimp. All of us agreed that our starters were excellent and represented the freshest seafood.
For our mains, I had the lobster roll, husband had a steamed lobster, and our friends had fish and chips. My lobster roll was heavenly! Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their fish and chips. Husband said that his lobster was the best tasting lobster that he has ever had eaten, and we have travelled the world!!! We were also served delicious key lime pie, on the house. Dinner was so good, and at such a great price with fantastic friendly service that husband insisted that we return the next day for happy hour.
When we returned the next day, we sat at the raw bar again, and were immediately recognized from the previous day. After ordering drinks, we were given a complimentary starter, the daily crudo which consisted of the freshest steelhead trout that husband said he has ever tasted. Since we loved our previous day's meal so much, I ordered the lobster roll again while husband had a dozen fresh oysters followed by his steamed lobster. The food was as excellent as the first day! We love consistency. The selection of wines offered by the glass were also good and paired well with the seafood. Greenpoint also has a variety of local craft beers.
After our time in NYC, we concluded that while you can't beat Chicago's pizza, Greenpoint had the best fresh seafood at a great price! Our only disappointment is that we don't live closer for the seafood.

I really had a great time here. The food is delicious and the vibe is chill. I will be back to try everything on the menu. The oysters were perfect. The fried clams hit the spot. This might be my new favorite restaurant
