We had a delicious Sunday Brunch at this chic restaurant in Brooklyn. The Crème Brûlée French Toast was outstanding (and the portions were enormous) as were the scrambled eggs with mushrooms or smoked trout. Can’t wait to return for dinner.

Excellent service. Had the swordfish as well as the chcken. Both nicely done. Had late reservations but was easily able to change to an earlier reservation when plans changed. Plenty of wine options. Great night out at a resonable price.

We went to visit our son who had moved to Bklyn. He has visited this place several times and took us for dinner. We sat outside even though it was mid November. There are heaters and it was warm enough. I had steelhead trout that...was amazing. I didn't leave a morsel on the plate. The steak frites my son and husband had were apparently not up to par with previous experiences: very tough to cut and not very flavorful. But, the waitress, Acadia, was extremely attentive and friendly. We would definitely come back again.More

Dropped in for lunch without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised to be seated outside in the small garden at the rear of the restaurant. The food was lovely and the service great. Can't fault the overall experience. WOuld strongly recommend a visit .

Late lunch, sat outside, a little hot since the fan wasn’t on us. Ordered chicken BLT, salad Nicoise, trout Po-boy. All were good. Service was good.

Excellent dinner. The small restaurant was fabulous. Excellent salads and great mains. And the cocktails were great. The bread was also ridiculously good.

The service is always great here, even if the tables are a little close together... The service is excellent and it's a nice atmosphere. And the Paper Moon cocktail is back 😁

Not the best location (middle of Atlantic Ave) but a very nice restaurant with solid food. The backyard when weather permits is incredible (and quiet) and some of the dishes are really worth the detour. I love their salad niçoise on a cereal pancake. The...skirt steak with frites and salad is a no brainerMore

We enjoyed an excellent meal. Service was excellent. Food very good. Decor was simple but elegant. Flavors were honest and well developed. Cocktails were very good, though seemed a bit restrained. Wine choices adequate, not over abundant. Frites, frites and more frites. Perfectly cooked and...seasoned. Not hard to screw up, but they didn’t. A very high standard. Hotter than Hades today, so outside seating was not an option, but what a lovely space. Highly recommended.More

Really enjoyed this place. Shared a few apps. Decent wine list and they will give you a taste if they have the bottle open. French roses seemed to be the best values. . I had the duck which was just a little tough but well...seasoned. The bavette and frites was good as was the fish. They have both inside and outside seating and while not a perfect 5 experience, I would go back. check out the menu before you go to see if this place is for you.More

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at French Louie. It was a beautiful night and we were seated on the lovely outdoor patio in the back. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu was great - our favorites were the Radicchio Salad, Oysters, Roasted Chicken,...Bavette Steak and Le Grande Socca. The wine list was small but had many nice options and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend and definitely return!More

A lovely cozy space with good food and great service. Our Waitress, Taylor, was terrific, who expertly serviced the wonderful food of Cast iron Chicken and Mussels & frites. And, don’t miss the wonderful deserts of Crumb cake and banana fosters. Note that the portions...are large. Also, the prices are reasonable for such a wonderful experience.More

Just was not impressed although I seem to be in the minority. I ordered the Moules Frites, and while the frites were fine the moule were meh. Dry, rubbery, with no sauce to speak of. Ok because no bread was offered for dipping anyway. My...wife's Pappardelle as likewise borderline unremarkable and just plain boring, with what was called a ragout on the menu was just some vegetables thrown over the top of the dry pasta. Sorry, not for me.More
