Enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. Pretty solid diner food. Eggs Benedict ($20) and egg platter with sausage ($18). Large portions. Cappuccinos ($5.25 each) were good. Our server was Xiomara. And she was friendly and efficient. Would definitely eat here again.

Unfortunately ordered toast with butter and jam. Dry toast arrived - no butter no jam. Asked a waitress to help she went away and didn't come back. Asked another waitress and she did the same. When I asked another she agreed to get me butter...and jam but toast was so cold by now I had to order more. No tip here the service was terrible.More

I have been using Juniors in Flatbush as my favourite "Go To"for the last 27 years at least once a year. This year 4 of us enjoyed our food here as usual, the bill came to $182and I left $200and went to their restrooms. When...I returned to my guests I was informed that the waitress had come over and told them that the tip was not big enough as "We work for tips" One of our party then left another $15 and did not tell me about this until we had left the restaurant..... I am absolutely appalled at this Waitresses behaviour, she had no idea if this was a business meeting and should NOT have approached my guests Sad as I have enjoyed every visit to Juniors up until now.More

The strawberry cheesecake was awful and it tasted and smelled like a garbage truck. I was eating while my girl was driving and I thought that we were driving near a dump truck. So I told her to roll up the window. Once the windows...were rolled up I noticed that the older was coming from the Cheesecake.More

Horrible, inedible experience!!! pastrami sandwich with meat full of fat, poorly cut,… steaks!!!! Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken, certainly cooked on a dirty plate, was all black and dry. I strongly advise against!!!More

Started off at Lords Bakery, jumped to Ladybird Bakery, then Regina and ended up at Juniors. Grabbed a red velvet cupcake. Almost got a slice of red velvet cheesecake $9.50 or their red velvet layer cake $9.25 but opted for the cheaper cupcake - $4.95.

It's been a while since I had Juniors and decided to give them another try. I was hopeful that their cheesecake would have improved with time. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The $10 slice of cheesecake I got was so dry that I couldn't finish it...without multiple glasses of water. Sadly, this is another one of the iconic spots in NYC that is egoistically operating on fame. Luckily, there is plenty of pastry shops around selling delicious cheesecakes.More

Local tourist trap, but because it was Christmas morning, decided to treat myself to brunch. It really was nothing special. Simple and expensive blah blah mushroom omelette, grits were good and toast was hard. Service was very non chalant, not my fault he chose to...work on holiday. Half way into meal I couldn't help thinking why locals steer clear of this place.More

It has been many years since we have visited Junior's in Brooklyn. We were expecting better. Corn Beef was dry and in one opinion very salty. Cheese cake was just OK. The frozen store bought cake was actually better, our guess was freshness. The only...plus on the food was the relish tray. Service was excellent, but that did not offset the food.More

January 2023 Great tasting cheesecake but it was mostly chocolate so it was more like a chocolate cake with just a little bit of cheesecake in between. Too rich as a result and not what I expected.

Was there yesterday 21 Oct 2023 for breakfast with my family. I hadn't been there in a while (a few years) for a dine in meal but I knew the food would be good since I practically grew up on Junior's since the 70's. But...I was surprised to say the least when we walked in and a lady looked at us and asked us, almost as if she had an attitude, if we wanted to be seated. I was surprised because of her attire. Junior's used to require a white shirt or a Junior's shirt and black pants for the dining room staff. While the Host or the Hostess didn't have to wear those clothes they were required to dress appropriately. This lady had on a red lace bustier/corset type top that showed quite a bit for a family restaurant better suited for a bar or club. BUT, as usual the food and the service was outstanding!!! Don't know when they got rid of the linen tableclothes and the bread/danish basket but as I said, the service and food made up for it. Thanks Junior's! It was my first time taking my son and he loved it. I just wish he could have experienced the Junior's I grew up on. The dress of the hostess and the lack of tableclothes, bread/danish baskets are the reason for the 3, the food is still a 5.More

Easy access via subway. Had an amazing combo Rueben with corned beef and pastrami… super stacked! Griddle cakes with cinnamon apple side were also happily consumed. Too full to indulge in cheesecake but they looked great… Friendly service, nice atmosphere.

We’d been looking forward to trying this place while on holiday in NYC. Started off well but over the course of our meal, our server either forgot about us or began ignoring us. We were offered the dessert menu while I was still eating my...main course. When the server came back to take the dessert order we asked for a few more minutes as I’d only just finished my mains. Some 25 minutes later the server came back, by this time we were fed up and asked for the check. We would have been happy to order more food and drinks if the service had been more attentive and hospitable. A shame as the food we were served was tasty and the drinks were good. Just goes to show, a good meal can be ruined by poor service.More
