This bakery is incredibly tasty, the desserts are exquisitely beautiful and the services is top notch. We have been two times this week, just discovered it. We’ll be back again!
I recommend the Ferraro mousse and my kids recommend the cupcakes. We got a variety of cupcakes, the cheese burger cupcakes were the cutest!! Hazelnut mousse, very good. And the fruit tart, also delicious.
The hamburger cupcakes are a seasonal item, but I called and they made a batch for me especially for my daughter at the last minute. She was delighted with them.

What a selection! This pastry shoppe has so much to offer, and everything was so fresh! We opted to buy some breads, cookies, and pastries. Nothing disappointed. We noticed as we shopped that a constant queue of people kept filing into the shoppe, primarily with pre-orders.
There is no dedicated parking. This shoppe is located on a side street in Brooklyn. Street side parking immediately in front is limited to about 3 spaces, and people were using creative ways to park to pop in for their treats.

Best family owned bakery, pastry, cakes, cookies and speciality items in Brooklyn which means the best in NYC.
Everything is delicious and fresh and always well received whenever I am visiting friends and family.
Their specialty cakes and cookies are gorgeous and delicious. They will work with you for any theme that you are looking for.
You will not be disappointed!

Large store with wide variety of cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, pizza, stuffed bread and more. Bought 3 pastries that will destroy my diet. Ferraro rocher mousse, pear caramel mousse and cassata.

Ordered a box from here to-go and everything was delicious! We tried the chocolate mousse, Ferrero cheesecake, cannoli, sfogliatelle, St Joseph, and cannolis. Their cannoli cream is some of the best I've ever had!

visited the area for dyker height lights, was freezing cold and stumbled across this gem part way round and it had hot drinks plus lots and lots of cakes/pastries. a few seats. value for money and quick service

Tasty Pastry has always stood out from the crowd when it comes to fresh, high quality cakes and pastries. When they first opened way back in the 1980s, there were many bakeries along 13th Avenue which had been there for years: La Bella Ferrara, Galifi, Temptations, Satellite, and Campagna are just a few that come to mind. The fact that they have outlasted them is a testament to the quality of their baked goods. Over the years they have expanded both their product line( which includes a large selection of sugar free and gluten free that must be sampled to be believed) and their store(which has been "tastefully" redone lol). The staff is always super nice and accommodating. They really try to work with me when I order custom cakes and find a way to realize my vision while still remaining within budget. Yes, Tasty indeed does it all! Rather than being a liability, I find this to be super convenient as they make it easy to achieve almost one stop shopping. Bravo Tasty! Continued success!

This place is lost. They are deli they sell cheap cookies, and mozzarella and eggplant. I have never seen a bakery that is trying to look classy and sells soda water chicken pastries mozzarella and even bagels. They need to make up there mind!

I order all the time from Tasty as I live in the neighborhood.. Their pasteries are very good, mini pizza's are great, my kids love them.. Gelato is good(Galifi pastry Shoppe was the best for gelato). They have good cookies and their Cannoli are good.. The breads are Ok, Mona Lisa or Gold Star are better for bread and I find their cakes are a bit dry.

Its next to the library so i have a valid excuse to indulge every time i need to pick up a book. The kids love their mini cakes and cupcakes but my favorite is the Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake. They used to only have it in the large cake form but now its in mini form which i don't know if its a good thing or bad thing because before i had to commit to the whole thing but now i can get the mini for anytime i like. Great customer experience except for one of the girls her attitude is a bit much. i never had her take my order but if she does and gives me "tude" i will let her know it's unacceptable.

I have been shopping at Tasty Pastry Shoppe for years (decades). It is still the same quality as when I first became a customer. I now live in South Jersey and continue to drive to Brooklyn when I want certain pastries that are just not available where I live (or at the same quality). This time, I ordered a graduation cake for a family member and went out of my way to get it here at the request of the graduate! It was a whipped cream cake with strawberries, bananas and French crème on the inside. Delicious. While there, I picked up some 7 layer cookies, lemon drops, savoiardi and regina biscotti. I didn't get cannoli this time but I like them better here than in Philadelphia and South Jersey.

We have stopped into Tasty Pastry every year for the last few years while checking out the epic Dyker Heights Christmas light displays. We've only tried a few items there, but everything has been very good. This year we had the cupcakes and the cannolis (the latter we have every year). The cupcakes were a tad dry, but the icing and filling more than made up for it. Likewise, the cannoli shells are a little too crunchy and crumble a bit too easily, but the filling is absolutely delicious. We'll be back next year and every year.

Where do I start? Just walking into the shop your senses are on overload, the fresh smells & the vibrant colors of the cakes,pastries, cookies, focaccias are enough to want one of everything. (But we know better!) They have such a wide range of Italian cookies that could make your head spin! We picked up a super fresh strawberry shortcake for a birthday and everyone loved it. Freshly made yellow cake with a strawberry filling surrounded by fresh whipped cream and plump strawberries on top. We also bought a meatbread and spinach roll to take home for our son ( I ate 1/3 of meat bread on the way home!- So Delicious!) They have sugar free chocolate so I bought the birthday girl some dark chocolate bark - she loves it! Help is friendly and we were in and out in no time! There were customers in front of us and everyone is respectful and waits their turn! Every Time we come to Brooklyn, this is a sure stop! (Bonus-The car smells sooo good!)

Tasty pastry shoppe is a shining example of old world bakeries that are left in Brooklyn. Pretty much anything you get there is going to be excellent to phenomenal. They also carry a large variation of sugar-free delicacies as well as gluten free. So hard to choose!!!
Fortunately for me I live nearby and come back often!!

Great selection of baked goods:pastries, cookies, breads. No sugar cookies, biscuits and chocolate for diabetics. Helpful staff. Delicious and a real Brooklyn treat!
