Relaxed confortable vibe.
Great pizzas (little bigger than individual sized but not quite large enough for two). The pepperoni with hot drizzled honey is excellent.
Their ceasar salad is also excellent as is their burger - cooked over open flame with excellent meat.
They have wine and beer - no spirits.
First tap beer we ordered was pretty flat but we sent it back (no hassle) and all was good from then on.
They also allow you to BYOB with only a minimal corkage fee.
Side note: you can get their pizzas delivered which are also aces..
Like I said love this place
We went with Brustins and Carpenters

This is a Brooklyn Gem, consistently good and great service. We have our favorites on the menu but the seasonal menu allows us to try something different.

The pizza was really good, though mine was slightly over-salty. It was expensive, but the portions were quite big. They have vegetarian and vegan options which are also tempting for non-vegs.
The place is nice, good atmosphere and music, but it could use better illumination (I like soft light, but this was a bit too dark). The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had the White album pizza which was amazing! The St Louie was also great, but hard to beat the White album pizza. It's costly for pizza, but definitely worth it

The next time I'm in Brooklyn I will definitely be back. The Caesar salad is probably the best I've ever had, good pizza too! The atmosphere & quality food makes it highly recommendable.

The grilled octopus is my fav I've ever had. Cozy place to go have a drink and a savory, quality dinner after a long work day. #treatyourself

We went here on a busy Saturday. The place was packed, but managed to get a table. The venue looks nice, the crowd was very cool, and food was pretty good!
We had a cheese pie, a vegetarian pie and a salad with beets, and everything was nice. Pizza would have been better with a little bit more cheese.

They serve these wonderful pickled hot peppers that are so good on the pizza and even to take away and put on stuff at home. The service is hit or miss. I've had some negative experiences with the host/hostess.

IF you are young and your hearing is already damage and you like exotic toppings on your pizza then this is the place for you. Admittingly I'm way above the average patron's age here and I like simple toppings on my pizza so I did not have a good time here. My younger relative loved the pizza and the place.
The one thing outstanding about this restaurant was the waitstaff.

Good pizza in a nice restaurant. Service is decent and a good beer selection. Pizzas are good but nothing special.

We LOVE Speedy Romeo's. We moved to Brooklyn from London and our Brooklyn neighbour recommended it to us. It's a great space to sit in, good music, friendly local feel with a good vibe. A great bar too. The chicken wings are fantastic. You can get a small or a large plate. The small one is plenty for two people to share. Go for the large plate for 3/4 people sharing. They are covered in spicy sauce (not too spicy) and thinly slided celery (which I usually hate!) and a ranch style dressing - they are delicious, the best I've ever eaten and we keep going back for more! It must be a secret recipe! Pizzas are also delicious and pretty large. Good value for money and consistently good service. It can get very busy. It's become our favourite local place to eat. Reservations accepted which is great as so few places will take a reservation for less than 6 people which drives us nuts!

Our son who lives in Brooklyn took us here during our Labor Day long weekend NYC visit NYC after we requested good New York pizza. This busy restaurant was just the right place to be. It has a casual neighborhood pub atmosphere but serves seriously good food. I started with a pleasant local KelSo Nut Brown dark lager draft. The roasted kale apple salad was well prepared and tasty. The yummy stuffed peppers with salami evoked memories of our Italian travels while the refreshingly sweet summer melon had a spicy kick from the chili flakes. The thin crusted pizzas we had: King Salami (hot&sweet soppressata), the gold standard Margherita, Dangerfield (pork veal meatballs) and Anton Ego (smoked eggplant/squash) were all excellent, especially the first two made with San Marzano tomato sauce. Delizioso!! Service was attentive and on point throughout. Bravo!

Marvellous pizzas. Nice to see that Michelin finds some nice places occasionally. I had King Salami and Dangerfield with my partner. Bot were just perfect Napoli style pizzas. Thank you!

Staying nearby and wanted a late lunch, early dinner. We were seated straight away because we came at 3pm and the place wasn’t too busy. The first thing I noticed was the music, loud, loud music. Our table was fine, water was brought to us in those annoying faux wine bottles, water wasn’t cold and because the water glasses were the size of juice glasses it felt like you endlessly refilling your glass. More loud music, nonstop loud music. Conversation killing loud music. The pizza menu was minimal for their set pies, but you could doctor up your own or make yours with the additional toppings. I ordered a cold brew coffee, the kale and apple salad to share and we ordered two pizzas to share. The pizzas are 12 inch, extra thin crust, wood-fired pizza. The salad came first and it was good, there was some sort of toasted seed (fennel?) on it that was so hard that someone could easily crack a tooth. The pomegranate seeds were fresh and tart, the kale not to bitter and the apple cut into fine matchsticks, really tasty. More loud music. Couldn’t really talk to my husband all that much less it felt like I was talking to him at a nightclub and kind of have to scream/talk at him. I had meat pizza and my husband had a cheese pizza. Both were hot and very good, but the thing with this type of pizza is that it does get soggy quick and the crust does get blackened, but that’s the type of pizza it is. If you are looking for spongy crust and uniform toppings order Dominos. Our service was good, not overly friendly. The restaurant was hot though. I’ve been to other wood oven pizzarias and I know they can be warmer than typical restaurants, but when you walked to the back of the restaurant the restrooms it was like 15 degrees cooler. Staff were eating back there and I can’t blame them, it was nicer back there than up front. So the music. I love music. Music can set the vibe of an establishment, the mood of staff can be gauged from their music choice (if they are allowed to choose), but volume is a tricky thing. I loved the music they were playing (90s-00s pop/hip-hop/RnB), I like loud music, but when you can’t talk to the person across from you that’s too loud.
