OMG, can you say AMAZING meal at AMAZING prices? When I did my research for an Italian restaurant, let me tell you, about 500 came up in my search. Ok, I’m exaggerating, but no joke, there were SOOOOO many. How is a girl to decide? After reading reviews and looking at photos, I went with this one bc it looked authentic, and it sure was. The food was soooo good. I mean we ordered anything and everything. The four us shared two apps, ordered four individual entrees (this place doesn’t mess around with portions), we ordered three desserts and a bottle of wine. The bill was just barely $200. I don’t think they have cocktails but that’s ok, you gotta have your vino with the pasta. Service was top notch. I think it was the owner that was serving us, and he did not miss a beat. We were the last people there and never felt rushed at all. This one of the very few restaurants that we took the subway for. I originally wanted to try to walk to all our destinations (we were staying in Williamsburg) but this restaurant was well worth the trek. I will be back!

The service is excellent. The menu is varied and has many vegetarian and pescaterian options. The butternut squash ravioli was perfectly cooked and I tried the sweet and sour cauliflower which had a nice char. The only strong negative is the inside noise which is deafening. The music is extremely loud which causes the patrons talk louder to hear each other. We opted to sit outside instead. This is not a hole in the wall establishment but not conducive to an after hours business meal or nice date atmosphere.

I have been to Piccoli for both dinner and Sunday brunch and each time I left looking forward to returning. At dinner we shared appetizers and had homemade pasta entrees and wine. At brunch, we had French toast served with fresh bananas, strawberries and mascarpone whipped cream, best I’ve ever had! The service is excellent, prices are reasonable and the intimate ambiance charming. Parking is on the street. Highly recommend!

What a gem! Family dinner. All food homemade. Bread, pasta, desserts. Rigatoni bolognese terrific. Pappardelle likewise. Risotto delicious. Price very reasonable. Service great. Wine selection good. I would go there every week if I lived nearby. Manny

It was a rainy Sunday night but this place was packed. Relatively small place with what initially looked like long communal tables but were separated by maybe a inch between tables which were very small. Add a bottle of wine, a bread basket and two side plates, the table is full. BTW, a family friendly place, quite a few children present. For appetizers we opted for the carpaccio and the calamari. The carpaccio was a relatively small portion that was covered in an arugula salad, actually one of the best arugula salads I've had in recent memory. However, the phrase "Where's the beef?" would apply here. The calamari was a large portion served with a nice mix of greens but was a bit chewy. Bread served was interesting, warm, light and crispy but the dipping sauce desperately needed salt. Entrees were a bit disappointing, Amatra (read duck breast) was overcooked and tough. Wasn't asked how one would like it cooked and medium rare could have saved the dish. The accompanying corn crema and arugula/celeriac salad were very well done but the main event was sadly overcooked and the arugula was a repeat from the appetizer. The roasted butternut squash, mascapone and sage ravioli was OK but just one note. A white plate with white ravioli and a white sauce, pretty uninteresting. Portions except for the carpaccio were on the large size and fairly priced, hence in my opinion the crowd. Wine list is serviceable, a reasonable selection at low to moderate prices. Return visit, don't think so.

We went with a party of 4. We didn't have a reservation, but miraculously, we were able to be seated! I have to rave about the squid pasta (can't remember the name) with the blue crab. It was absolutely one of the best past dishes I have ever had!! I had to keep myself from picking up my plate and licking it!! LOL!! (No, I would never do that!) The service was great, they didn't rush us although it was a busy Saturday night, and I can't wait to go back!!! 5 STARS from me!!

Thank you Nancy for such a nice review. The pasta name is Spaghetti al Grancchio and we don't expect the customers to remember :) We hope to see you back again to try the rest of our homemade pasta.

Delicious food and great service at this neighborhood trattoria. I enjoyed a Seafood Risotto and also tasted the Ziti Bolognese. Both were delicious and everything served promptly and hot. We also shared some appetizers. I recommend the Polenta with Wild Mushrooms - excellent. They have a full wine list as well. Our server was professional and friendly and got everyone's order right the first time. I recommend this restaurant highly.

The atmosphere of this place is extremely welcoming. If the weather is nice, I’d recommend sitting outside and enjoying the neighborhood vibes. The food is also incredible! The ravioli di caprino is the best ravioli I’ve had so far and I’m definitely coming back so I can have more.

Situated on a quiet corner in Park Slope. Owners are former restauranteurs from Buenos Aires where pasta is as good as Italy. Ciccio's homemade pasta dishes are superb. Wait staff very nice. Might be best italian restaurant in Park Slope

1 block from trendy 7th avenue restaurants - Piccoli beats them all. Argentine owners are from Buenos Aires where the Italians perfected their pasta. The gnocci melts in your mouth. Interesting Wine list complements great food. Open for dinner from 4:30 pm. The outside tables are tucked off the sidewalk on a quiet street for comfortable dining. Piccoli is a notch better than the real good Italian restaurant, Baciccia, one block south on 7th Avenue. Try them both.

We have been ordering take-out from Piccoli for a long time and are really disappointed to report that portion size seems to be 'shrinking'. Can't say why, but the next time we dine-in, will ask, but really... should there be any difference in the portion size from what is ordered when one dine's in, as opposed to take-out?

Visited Piccoli for Sunday brunch. Food and service was excellent. Prices very reasonable. Varied choices with option to purchase unlimited breakfast cocktails for $16 for 90 minutes ($27.95 fixed price - entree plus cocktails) . Restaurant a bit dark and tables very close together. Location is great for walkers but parking nearby is iffy. Would recommend.

I had the butternut squash ravioli and the roasted Brussel sprouts with pancetta. Cannot describe how mindblowingly good it was. We sat outside, and I am glad we went before 7, since by 8 there was a waitlist. Others had the hanger steal which they described as tender and juicy, and one had the black linguine with crabs meat. I plan on going back to try one of the risottos. Total bill was more than reasonable for 4 people. I heartily recommend this restaurant
