This small bakery is primarily for takeout. I had the sweet and refreshing Arnold Palmer drink. The hot chocolate cookie was gooey and rich in cacao flavor. I didn’t try the Brooklyn Blackout cake this time, but I’d like to return for it on my next visit.

Friends and I planned a challenge to visit the best cookies in NYC. Ovenly was our first stop and we came here for its Salted Peanut Butter and the Daily Special - Salted Almond Chocolate Chunk. The Peanut Butter was one of our top 3, soft inside with strong PB smell and crunchy outside. The size was perfect for individuals. The Almond Chocolate Chunk was too salty on the layer and off balance with almond & chocolate. We also got a Ham & Cheese Croissant to share since it looked so appetizing in the display. However, even with our request to heat it up, the croissant was still served cold. It tasted not as good as what we expected. The decor was artsy and adorable with cozy ambiance, so we enjoyed our stay there (dining outside) even in a cold weather.

If you're a bride and would like a wedding cake on your wedding g day, do NOT go with Ovenly. You will regret it. I was not the type of bride who perseverated over every time detail. The things i cared most about were my dress and my cake. I am a hobbyist baker and am VERY picky, and I've never had a wedding cake I actually enjoyed, so for my wedding i wanted to do something special and get a cake from a bakery whose cakes i know I like. I interviewed several vendors before deciding on Ovenly with my family and fiancé. I spent $150 on a handmade cake topper, which I displayed in our home until the wedding. All this to say--I was by no means a persnickety bride, but this was a really important detail to me. I began the process of getting my cake months in advance of my wedding, where about 200 people were to be in attendance. I spent $1,450 for a 3-tiered cake which would serve 95 (this was $950 of the $1450) and a handful of smaller cakes that my venue would cut in the back to plate up for the rest of my guests. I emailed Ovenly 4 days before the wedding to confirm and they confirmed that everything was all set. So imagine my abject horror when I arrive at my venue and my WEDDING CAKE isn't there. My venue and florist did their best to make the handful of smaller cakes that Ovenly DID send look very nice, but they were separate and not tiered. The venue also had to stretch those handful of smaller cakes to feed all 180 guests, since the ** 3-TIERED WEDDING CAKE** WAS NEVER SENT. I called Ovenly the day after my wedding and they quickly made me financially whole by refunding the $950 for the tiered cake and apologized for the "oversight." While that is appreciated, Ovenly probably doesn't know that I'm an attorney, and reimbursing me for the tiered cake is the absolute bare-bones minimum action that they could have taken to prevent me from suing them. While they can give me my money back, they can't go back in time and give me a wedding cake on my wedding day, which is something you can't put a price on. Our pictures will forever show us cutting into a single tiny 8-inch cake rather than the beautiful 3-tiered cake I'd been dreaming of for years. $950 doesn't even begin to reimburse me for that.

If you have a sweet tooth and crave to have a piece of delicious cake with sandwitch - this is your place . The mouth watering slice of ant cakes , chocolate cookies , muffins and breads are divine here . There is not much space fervor seating here but take aways are more popular . There is also some items which are price at flat rate $ 1 - chocolate chip cookies . The drawback is they do not handle cash . Only cards are accepted .great service .

Amazingly good bakery items - had to wait a bit for coffees to be made ahead of us - but definitely worth the wait. There were a couple of options that were gluten-free, as well. Great to bring them along as we walked along the waterfront.

Salted peanut butter cookies...nuff’ said! Walking through urban space and noticed the cookbook which my daughter has and realized it was the actual booth for the cookbook- sweets all looked incredible as small batches. Splurged on the peanut butter cookie and it was the best I’ve ever had!

Slow service even when no one else is there. And everything is a problem. They don't accept cash. No small dogs (the place is 10 SQ ft), Different products each day without rhyme or reason, a worthless "loyalty" program (capped at $4, everything is more expensive, and doesn't count towards coffee)... And most of the employees seem to have personality disorders. Good cake though.

Ovenly is a very popular bakery with sweet and salty baked goods in Brooklyn. Its flagship location is hip Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Its has locations on the edge of Park Slope near the Barclay's Center and in Williamsburg. We ordered a huge cake for a family event and it was delicious. Try it if you are near one of its locations. Not worth a special trip in itself. To be very clear, it is not a restaurant.

The pastry taste amazing in this bakery! The place is very cosy and the atmosphere is warm which was great considering the 17°F outside.

First, I hope there is a way to put all locations of Ovenly on here in the future. We found them by chance wandering around near our hotel. Look for it inside Urbanspace, with many other food vendors. Excellent chocolate chip cookies, Brooklyn Blackout Cake and brownies. Mmmmm. We were in NY six days, and I'm also embarrassed to say we stopped by 3 times. The two members on staff we were served by were very helpful and friendly. If you show up right before closing you can get an excellent price on the remaining smaller items, like cookies or brownies. (Or if you are there right when they open are have any left from the night before.)But trust me, the sweets are worth the regualr price!

Ovenly's baked goods are superb and their convenient location gives them an advantage due to all the neighborhood visitors that frequent the Transmitter Park. They also offer discounted baked goods from the previous day. I highly recommend their sea salt chocolate chip cookies.

I don't like sweets but the only exception are the sea salt chocolate cookies from Ovenly. I have at least 6 of them a week and can't get tired of them. Definitely try the banana bread.

We found this lovely little cafe en route to Greenpoint Park on opur last morning in Greenpoint. What a find!!! Two very helpful girls only too willing to explain ingrediants etc. We had a couple of coffees and some of their delicious cookies and then bought several items for us to eat on our travels. Everything is homemade. delicious and quite delightful.

I work across the street. We always come here for the delicious Stumptown coffee and cold brew. Must get the salted chocolate chip cookies. For tourists, come here to grab a bite. Go hang out at the park next door. Take the East River ferry to Dumbo or something to catch a view of Manhattan.
