We found this gem because we walked across the Brooklyn bridge and wanted to explore the Dumbo neighborhood and needed a place with gluten free options! In our party we ordered slices of pepperoni, Hawaiian and a white sauce with greens and a personal pizza with gluten free crust. We also ordered garlic knots and a mini pinwheel pizza thing with sausage and pepperoni. Service was excellent and speedy. The personal pizza needed to cook so it did take a while, 20-30 minutes. The pizza was excellent. The sauce was so good. We also really liked the garlic knots.
In a great location too. But just FYI, the line got the restroom was super long.

They really helped us out when we went there because we are allergic to wheat, tomatoes and dairy! So they gave us gluten free pizzas and really modified them and were super nice about it - very happy to help us. And the pizza was great! We highly recommend...we are vegan!

I dragged my sister, niece and sister in law across the Brooklyn Bridge just to get 'the photo' on Washington Street. We went into Front Street Pizza for a bite to eat and we were not disappointed. My 8 year old niece who is usually a fussy eater loved her pizza and is still raving about it. We cannot fault the quality of the food or the first class service. If you are in the area I highly recommend you try this place, incredible food at great prices.

So I live in the area since 2009, and have visited Front St on numerous occasions and even more so with my daughter. On weekends they hide the fridge that stores canned and bottled sodas, as was told tourists will take without paying.
So they now also give you a plastic cup maybe 8-10 oz of sodas. Rip off, I was in during the week a few months ago and my daughter and I had the larger plastic cup with soda (where they add lemonade on display) daily.
Pizza is good, David Portnoy stopped by last year, even though the score was a high 6 pointer, the pizza is good. Mind you, there are 7 others pizzerias in DUMBO!!!

Very affordable pizza (slice of pizza at $4-5). 2 portions per person are enough. They are very good although prepared in advance (they cook them all day and then sell them by the slice) and reheated by the slice to order.
It is also possible to buy huge whole pizzas…16” and more than 20” I think. Huge.
We didn't try the many other dishes.
Fountain drinks are also very affordable ($2.5-3). We actually made the mistake of ordering root beer (which is not beer, but a soda made from roots and plants… meh).
As for cheesecake dessert, passable.
So it works very well if you want to eat cheaply after a visit to Dumbo or the bridges... on the Brooklyn side. It's just up the street you have to do when leaving the bridges...

I think this was the best GF pizza I have ever had. Did not taste like the GF pizzas from the supermarket which usually make me feel a bit unwell due to how processed they are. This was an expensive pizza ($22), but as the quality was so good, it was worth it. I opted for The Works on GF base. Shared with my partner, he could not tell this was GF.
We headed out of the restaurant and took a short walk to some benches and steps overlooking the Brooklyn bridge - what a sight! A must see with the Manhattan backdrop lit up spectacularly.

We were walking around Brooklyn after crossing the bridge. We stopped by to get pizza. We got buffalo chicken and Hawaiian. These are massive slices. Very well made and nicely done. There is outdoor/indoor seating. They take your temperature.
I tried the gyro which was very dry and not flavorful unfortunately and did not eat it.
Its a quick stop for lunch.

The pizza and the location are a match made in heaven! We went to check out the famous bridge photo and were craving some authentic Brooklyn pizza. Our taxi driver had raved about this place as we were entering the city, and boy, were we glad we listened. This was an amazing pizza experience. The staff were super helpful in suggesting different toppings, but let’s be real, the pizza was the star of the show. The pepperoni was off the charts, and we also tried the ham and pineapple, as well as the mushroom. All of them lived up to the hype!
Next time we’re in town, we’ll definitely be making a beeline for this place, not for the bridge photo, but for the pizza!

About 20 years ago I was in Brooklyn and had a Philly cheese steak that was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. I've thought about eating that sandwich again ever since. Well today I was on a walking tour of Brooklyn and walked past the place. I just had to eat that sandwich again and it was as good as I remembered.

This ended up being our favorite pizza of our entire NYC trip. We ate at six different pizza places over our stay, including some of the ones that make top lists and our whole family agreed this was the best we had. Staff were very nice and attentive which we didn't always get at some other spots.

Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge with full intention to get an authentic NY Pizza.. Found Front Street Pizza very quickly and it was the best i've ever had.. New Yorkers certainly are the best at making pizza's.. I don't know what they do that makes it so different and better - but it works!
Everyone i know who have been to New York all say the Pizza is in a different league.. Once i tasted it for myself, i knew exactly what they meant.. I only had 2 slices and i was full.
My wife is Gluten Free and also loved their GF Pizza!
I would go back to NY just for the pizza it's that good!

We kind of stumbled onto this little gem when about to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. I couldn't believe how crowded it became and it is obviously the go to place for a lot of kids after school.
Prices were very reasonable. Buy by the slice. Great idea. Pizza slices were huge (I am from Australia). I said I only needed one, but hubby insisted on two. Lunch also became dinner. I was craving vegetables, so I became a little excited when I spotted this pizza. Delicious too.

I didn't have high expectations, but the chewy dough and fresh cheese tasted really good. The side wings were also good. I recommend it. It's a gem of a pizza restaurant in Dumbo. I recommend trying various slices!
