We have been getting pies, whole and slices, from here for years. The best thing about 4&20 is THEE CRUST! Housemade, flaky, with just the right chew, especially when the juices or custard permeates the pores, as it bakes. Interestingly enough, one of our favorites is the Salted Caramel Apple Pie. It is a meal within itself. It is loaded with chunky, yet thin slices of apples and rivers of salted caramel flow through each layer. Baked, the pie gives an aerated layer of anticipation. We also get the custard Honey Salt and Peanut Chocolate. They do change with seasons or holidays so always check. These are their standards though. For events, it is best to order well in advance. They do have whole pies available but OFTEN sell out! Service is swift, efficient and friendly. Parking can suck but it's Brooklyn so...double park and quickly grab your pie to go.

Grabbed 6 slices of various pie today for National Pi Day. Macha was my favorite. Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). It is observed on March 14th (3/14 in the month/day date format), as the numerical date 3/14 represents the first three digits of pi. Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world with various activities, events, and discussions centered around the significance of pi in mathematics and its applications in science and engineering.

The salty honey pie was delicious but the other pies were just okay. Maybe a little dry. The savory hand pies weren’t much better. People wet coming in and picking up whole pies so maybe they are better. Coffee was delish.

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for pie and coffee and we were so glad. Tried the chocolate, the apple and the pumpkin which were all wonderful. Not your average pie for sure. Worth the price!

The apple and the honey-lavendar were each exquisitely delicious and the coffee quite good. We took ours to-go and the crusts and crumble were not soggy even an hour later.

The pies were good - we had a lemon cream and a slice of plum streusel. Whipped cream was ok. Tasty, good crust.

This was on the way back to my hotel, and after the first time I walked in I was greeted warmly and I asked which were their two favorite pies. I got an immediate answer and promptly bought a slice of one of them. Boy were they right! Yum! I’ve been back a half dozen times and have taken other people too, all have liked this place!

I was craving apple pie so bad my husband surprised me after work and drove me to brooklyn. This bakery has charm to it. The pies were so amazing made me feel like i was in the kitchen with my grandmother. The aromas of fresh baked pie just fill your soul.

Pies range from acceptable to extraordinary. Drop coffee should be avoided since they don't keep it fresh but the espresso drinks were quite good. As most has remarked, cliche of a brooklyn hipster joint, but if you like pie, good place to pass an hour or so enjoying a slice. As most remark, it is pricey. Regretfully, they don't understand the wonderful fusion of a hot pie and a scoop of just starting to melt vanilla ice cream - they have no way to heat the pies and the ice cream is served rock hard frozen.

We had the brown butter pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. Delicious! One of the best pie shops with the most delicious pies. Interesting selections.

Since they come up in all the bakeries you have to visit in NY we went here on a Sunday afternoon. Pies 42 dollar, tbh forgot what 1 slice costed but go figure. Apple pie caramel and stone fruit and the brownie were great though. Coffee too. So not complaining

Maybe because high expectations that I had, I felt a little bit disappointed. The savories were not in pie shape at all, but more like calzune. Its took them a lot of time to warm them. The slices of the pies were a little bit small compare to american classic slices. We tried the apple pie, the pecan pie and the Nectarine pie. Tastes were good but not great. I tasted better in this trip.

Pie? Yes! Delicious? Yes! Expensive? Yes! Each slice around six dollars I think that’s slightly unreasonable. The pie is really good. But there are a lot of places with really good pie in the city.

Stopped in for a slice for me and a pie to take home. I got a cream pie that was flavored with tea (hojicha). It was delicious, very subtle flavors. I took the salted honey pie home for my family. It was also delicious. If you get it dont skip the salt they give on the side, it makes the pie! Onky downside is the price, $40 gor a pie, eek! Worth a special treat though.
