In addition to being a large social function facility, the Brooklyn Winery provided out family with excellent filet mignon & salmon dinners during wedding reception that took place e after the ceremony. Both the food & service was excellent.

I went to this place with friends who love drinking wine. I personally don’t drink but I loved this winery! They have a lot of choices to eat and all we tried were delicious. We see that the ingredients are high quality. My friends loved the wine too! The employees were very kind and brought us to visit the winery in the back of the restaurant. They explained the whole process. They were really gentle. Besides that, the environment is informal and cool with low lights. Very cozy!

Looks stunning - but couldn’t book on website, then emailed but no reply.
I tried booking several weeks in advance but system said ‘you can’t book that far ahead’, so I checked daily until one day the system said ‘fully booked for that date’. I emailed and asked what had happened/whether there were any tables available, but received no reply.
Really awful customer service - from a place that, like others want 18-22% tips. Ridiculous.

We went there for wine tasting. With $18 you get to choose 4 different wines. The wine was good. The place looked nice and rustic. The only down side was, when we got there, there were couples making out in the couch in broad daylight. We had to sit with our back facing them.

We heard about Brooklyn Winery via a Business Insider video in the UK and were intrigued to visit. We were staying in Manhattan, but it was easy to get to on the metro; Bedford Ave station is 2 minutes walk away.
We visited on a Monday evening, quite early and enjoyed a very relaxed couple of hours at the bar. Our server chatted to us about what they do there and we came away with a bottle of our favourite wine.
We'd eaten, so didn't try any of the food, but it looked great!

This is a lovely place to enjoy wine and snacks for happy hour. We ordered several plates which were very tasty. My only disappointment was the portions were so small. The cheese board had the tiniest portions of cheese especially for the price. On the other hand, the olives were a generous portion.

My brother and his gf and I attending a wedding here of a childhood friend and his beautiful bride, and absolutely loved the entire event. The staff at the Winery was very pleasant and helpful, very attentive and professional. I had sampled a few of their wines and must say I loved them all.
Being that it was a wedding it was a fixed menu, but the chicken and salad was good, as were the potatoes and veggies. They had cookies and a variety of desserts for us too. All great!
I want to say the wedding party was in the 150 range, and we never were feeling cramped or tight despite being confined to indoors as it rained the whole weekend (great luck for weddings!) The staff shuffled us from one room to another, from happy hour to ceremony to dinner to desserts and dancing, all done well and without any snags.
Im curious to see what the Winery is like during a normal Saturday night, when open to the public. I'll be back!

We attended a wedding at the Brooklyn Winery and had a wonderful experience. The food and wine were great! The winery made a very pretty setting for both the ceremony and reception.

Brooklyn Winery has a lovely rustic wine bar that's a great place to have a flight of wine. The only trick is that they're closed for private events on Fridays and Saturdays more often than not. Check their website ahead of time or you'll be disappointed (or you can always try to crash the wedding they'll inevitably have)

We attended a wedding at the winery. It was a lovely evening in a casual, yet sophisticated, urban setting. The candles, flowers and stainless wine vats made a delightful, comfortable environment. The apps and dinner were delicious, truly a cut above all the rest. In addition, the hostess and staff were friendly and always smiling. Of course, the wine was good, too! A fabulous venue in the up and coming Williamsburg area of Brooklyn!

It's hard to write a review based on attending a wedding. Normally wedding fare is so-so at best. But oh, not here. Let's take the whole experience... we stopped in the night before for wine and were offered a friendly tour of the place by staff. (Okay, yes, I was the father of the bride, but she wasn't with us the night before). So, on the night before, thumbs up on wine and friendliness. Now the event... The place is located in a great neighborhood and is cool as hell inside; three larger rooms for the event and two smaller ones, all ours. The cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were spectacular. Dinner among the wine vats was exceptional (NUMEROUS guests said it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had, and I agree). The staff was amazing, and went above and beyond with their courtesy and professionalism.. I can't speak for the regular nightly fare here, but for weddings? I wish I could give them a "6" and not just a "5." Thank you, Brooklyn Winery for your part in a VERY memorable day.. I WILL be back to try dinner when I'm in town next. Two thumbs WAY up!

we have just returned from a wedding at the winery. the venue is fairly new as i am told -- 4-5 years old, once a nightclub, another time a funeral parlor, it has been thru several incarnations.
this wonderful spot was the perfect wedding spot for our cousin and his beautiful bride. the entire layout, bride and groom dressing rooms were decorated beautifully. with erlenmeyer flasks as juice containers and old timey objects strategetically laid out, the charm couldn't be beat.
the apps were delicious. i had enough that i skipped the dinner in order to make room for the desserts/cake. the sweets were pretty but dry. however the tea and coffee were tasty.
the staff was very professional and pleasant. the location was convenient to our hotel (Box House). the winery is a fabulous venue for a quaint and charming wedding or date.

The cocktails are small for the price but delicious. The wine is New York so if you are a California wine lover this is a big come down. Even the wine they make themselves from CA grapes didn't do it for me. The pork ribs were a bit dry and average. Kale seems to be their veggie of choice for sides...ugh, even creamed it is tough to chew. The hanger steak was perfect and delicious but potato chips and steak are really not a combination, especially chips of barbq chips. The brussel sprouts are yummy and cooked perfectly! Service was good.
