Memorable dining experience

Fandi Mata is a true gem in the heart of Williamsburg, great vibes, great atmosphere! You can tell they are paying attention on every detail, the cocktails are awesome. The food and the service are nothing short from amaizing, food is delicious and the service is impeccable, with attentive staff who are well-versed in the menu and eager to enhance your dining experience.

Fandi Mata , which began simmering on this side of BK 3 years ago, is the neighborhood destination to beat—near or far—replete with housewarming party hospitality, style, an excellent menu and more perspective than I’ve seen anywhere else this year. Bar is to the right and on the 2nd floor on weekends. A smaller satellite bar with Oaxaca summer vibes. There’s room for 95 throughout. Standard sips like martinis and smartly listed wines on both floors. Magnificent agave portfolio. Mezze/ ceviche / ribeye / burger!!!! And the pizza chef is putting out some Incredible fares.

Fabulous experience for an event

I hosted an event at Fandi Mata for an alumni group. We were able to do reception style with appetizers and pizza with a section of the bar deviated to us. It went fantastic!! Every person commented on how much they liked the atmosphere of the venue (which by the way is gorgeous) and the amazing cocktails! The food was good too! I’ve been here for brunch before and loved it and was pleased again! I highly recommend! I also had a great experience coordinating with the team!

Great restaurant with best events!

We went in Fandi Mata for a special event for a “Bastille day”. We are not french but I loved how thoughtful they were in preparing the event, organizing “ Pétanque” game with a real sand inside the restaurant; live band that played french music.. St Germain liquor tasting etc. Always a great experience visiting here! This time a really enjoyed their signature cocktail Paloma! Food was great as always. Rib eye steak made my tummy happy and full.

New favorite place in Brooklyn

Fandi Mata is my new favorite Brooklyn restaurant. To start, you walk into a literal oasis of warmth and color and plants, only to be followed by the most perfectly mixed cocktails one could wish for. Definitely scored some major “I know a place” points with my friends that were joining me. Their mezze platter is the best you can find and I cannot recommend the croquetas enough—we ordered another plate of them, they were so good. We capped our evening off with their new banana pudding and it sent us all into a state of food and cocktail coma bliss. We will be back, Fandi, thanks for the good eats and service!!

Rib Eye Perfeciton: A Culinary Symphony of Flavor and Quality

Indulging in the Rib Eye at this establishment was an absolute treat for my taste buds! The dish features premium certified grass-fed beef that was cooked to perfection, showcasing a tantalizing blend of tenderness and juiciness. The meat was seared to a delectable crust on the outside while maintaining its succulent texture inside, making every bite a delightful explosion of flavor. Accompanying this culinary masterpiece was their house-made béarnaise sauce, which elevated the dish to new heights. The sauce was velvety smooth with a delicate balance of rich buttery goodness and a subtle tang from the herbs, beautifully complementing the robust flavors of the rib eye. As for the side, the "fandi fries" were a revelation! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were the perfect match for the star of the show. Seasoned just right, these fries proved to be irresistible and added a delightful element of crunchiness to the dish.

Dinner with the Girlie!

Visited Fandi Mata with a friend for dinner and everything was amazing. The ambiance was so beautiful and bright and the food matched. Our server William made honest recommendations and all the dishes he suggested were SO good; branzino, gnocchi, cauliflower and more. We trusted his opinion and weren’t reluctant to try what he said. Def try Fandi Mata and ask for William!

Had an awesome birthday dinner. Our waiter William gave great recommendations and went out of his way to personalize the experience. Definitely coming back next time we have something to celebrate (and praying William is working!!)

Unique Dining Experience

One of the most unique dining experiences. Large, industrial space with warming elements like plants, art, tile, lighting, music with a DJ at the right volume so you can still talk. The food was incredible. The steak, to die for. We shared plates and everything was memorable and delicious.

Excellent place for dinner

I had dinner here 7/22 and I just want to say this place is amazing. The decor is beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is sublime. Isabelle and Willy offered great recommendations and checked on me frequently to see if I needed anything. I would definitely go back again.
