We live 8 miles from the Canadian border in northern New Hampshire. Our brother-in-law had gone to Ignazio's Pizzeria a few years ago and spoke so highly of their pizzas that we put it on as a must go during our 5 day Christmas vacation in New York City. The ferry ride from Manhattan to Brooklyn started a wonderful evening adventure. From the moment we docked and walked a short distance to the restaurant we were impressed with the area. Upon entering the restaurant we felt welcome by the owner and the awesome staff who couldn't do enough to make us comfortable, we ordered three of the most popular pizzas on the menu which were brought to the table so hot that steam was coming off them. In all of my life I have never tasted such amazing pizza. From the dough to the toppings the flavor was an experience like no other, we left that night totally satisfied by our visit to Ignazio's and have bragged about it to everyone who asks us about our trip to the New York City area.

Absolutely fantastic. Dumbo was really busy over Easter and had concerns about availability. However, the guys @ignazios were so accommodating and explained everything about their tasty menu. The pizza’s were so delicious, the garlic bread was divine and the atmosphere was just perfect. Sit in and take in the Italian atmosphere. Every pizza that came out of the kitchen looked delicious and was mouthwatering. JUST GO!

Whilst having a day out around DUMBO, we got hungry earlier than expected and Ignazio's was the closest pizza restaurant, so decided to call and it was the best decision of the day. The restaurant was spotless, staff attentive and the pizza we shared was without exaggeration the finest pizza that either me or my wife have ever tasted. The only downside was that we went back the following evening, a Wednesday at about 8pm, and the place was closed, which was a real shame.

Ignazios was great! Amazing Brooklyn pizza, and the best garlic bread I have ever had in my life! It is a relatively small restaurant, that has both indoor and outdoor seating, and can have a long wait. But it is worth it! Ignazios has some of the best casual Italian I have had in the city. I highly recommend!

pizza was GREAT! we had regular slices and they were hot and tasty. very thin crust which had substance but was not overly crisp. there was a lot of oil on top but I like it that way, some people don't... it's a little pricy at $5 per slice but that's the going rate in the city these days. I would go back in a heartbeat. ps - they serve slices note that Julianna's and Grimaldi's don't.

We stopped for a couple of slices. Very warm welcome from the team, thin crispy slices, very fast service and reasonably priced drinks with an amazing view from underneath Brooklyn bridge. Definitely the place to go for pizza while in Dumbo

Great Pizza Place right next the NYC river ferry. After a quick shopping stop at the Dumbo arts and antique market we headed over for lunch before boarding the ferry to 34th St Downtown. It’s a relaxing way to see the city from the water and it’s only $4 per person. As far as the pizza goes l recommend the white cheese with bacon on top! Very good.

I found Ignazio’s while researching Brooklyn pizza options for a family bucket list trip to NY for Thanksgiving, and it didn’t disappoint at all. After a small breakfast, shopping, and walking the Brooklyn Bridge, we were ready for a few slices and some local beer. What we ended up with was incredible service, and outstanding food. Our server was this beautiful, sweet lady who was incredibly patient with our over-ordering Texas crew - who wanted to try a little bit of everything. We ended up ordering stuffed peppers (careful because they’re unsuspectingly friggin HOT when they come out), and Estelle’s meatballs w/mozzarella as apps, and the white with sausage and bacon, the Sicilian with pep, and the TexMex as our main course. It. Was. So. Good. My only shocker through the meal was the final total. It added up quick (and is the only reason I gave them 4 stars). Other than that… impeccable. Don’t forget cash because it’s all they accept. They do have an ATM if you need it though! I could just imagine the nod of approval from my Sicilian grandparents on this choice. I hope to make it back one day! Mangia!

We took the ferry to Brooklyn and we’re gonna walk back on the Brooklyn bridge. We’re hungry when we got there and noticed this pizza place went in very clean. Friendly sat at the bar and had pizza. It was undoubtably the best pizza I’ve ever had the perfect combination of cheese and sauce, and the crust was crispy, it was definitely a 10 out of 10 I am Italian and I definitely know my pizza lol

Pizza’s good! Though the one we ordered was not so crunchy as the best stone-oven baked ones. The cheese was great. Don’t visit on a really hot day, we went during the heat wave with 100 F and they did not have aircondition. The one fan they had in dining area were not effective, and the rest was used by the waiters.

26 December and everything is full in this touristy part of Brooklyn by the East River, in the Dumbo area. So the wait was long and you can't book. We were a party pf 12 and therefore wanted for 30 minutes or so. It was worth it. Huge pizzas with fresh ingredients. A la Carte or shape ot yourself. The dough is delicious and it comes flaming hot from the oven. Everybody found it scrumptious. Service is good but some servers do not speak a word of English

I have the chance to spend a weekend in NYC during a business trip. After a couple of hours taking photos in Dumbo last night, I stopped at Ignacio’s to have a pizza. I was on my own and had dinner at the bar. I ordered a calzone with Parma ham plus a pint of lagger. Calzone was served after 10-15 minutes which was fine but this had nothing to do with a calzone except the shape. Tomato sauce was served aside and the crust was crunchy, not really pizza crust. There were tiny pieces of ham. Taste was ok but this was definitely not a calzone. This restaurant does not accept credit cards and they add 20% tip to your bill, whether you are happy with the service or not. Overall I spent more than 50$ for a pizza and one beer, I’m sure you can find much better in Brooklyn.

Came in around 2:30. Pizza was so good but knocking a star as the crust was a bit stale. Knocking another star as the service was very bad. Had to approach the bar to get our waters refilled and ask a bus boy to get us a box and check. Ambiance and views are great and price is reasonable

Ignazios has amazing pizza! We came here because there was only a small line and the people all looked pretty happy. We got a large peperoni then walked to the park next to the Brooklyn Bridge for great views o the Manhattan Skyline. A few weeks earlier we tried Julianas based on the ratings and were disappointed. Based on that experience I had modest expectations but let me tell you it was fantastic and totally exceeded my expectations: there was plenty of sauce, lots of cheese, ample peperoni and fresh basil. The crust was crisp and tasty too. We (3 of us) did not leave an once of pizza uneaten and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Next time I am in DUMBO and want pizza this is the first place I am coming. So happy we ate here!

The location is fun, directly under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. The place is warm so you can remove a layer of clothing for comfort if need be. Also very clean. Pizzas are amazing as well and the price is reasonable. Highly recommend, will likely visit again.
