We discovered the place by accident and early in the morning, after doing some shopping in Fulton Street we came back and never regret it. We were served by a friendly staff and the food was delicious and we love to eat with hot tea. We recommend it and wil go again when we come back.

We decided to do a dine-in at Han Dynasty, located just outside Trader Joe’s, instead of going through our usual routine of searching for a table after purchasing food at the food court. Our Saturday lunch consisted of familiar Chinese dishes like wonton with red oil, dan dan noodles, string beans and dry pot style pork & vegetables. The standout here was the string beans fragrantly flash fried with minced pork & garlic to a slightly crunchy mouthfeel. The won ton was also nicely done while the dan dan had a tad too much sweet peanut sauce. The dry pot style pork sautéed with mushroom bamboo shoots, celery and Sichuan peppercorn served in a mini wok was quite flavorful. Service was good.

We ate dinner here in the food hall below the Target. Seems like one of the few Chinese sit downs in this neighborhood. Wasn't particularly busy. Mostly you pick your sauce and veggie mix and add protein. Food prep OK but portion could be larger. Maybe try first for less expensive lunch.

This Han Dynasty location (part of a national chain) provided a very good lunch in Brooklyn's Crosspoint shopping mall's food court. I had the scallion shrimp (which comes with white rice), which was tasty and was served promptly on a busy holiday week.

Not getting your food at all and not getting anyone at the restaurant to pick up your call isn't the most pleasant experience.

Do not go here they will mess up your order every time I have been here a number of times and they consistently get my order wrong. I actually found a staple in my dumpling in my soup once and they couldn't give a crap!!! It was kind of scary. They could care less if I was unhappy. I stopped going here and you should too.

I had heard good things about this place and what I had been told didn't let me down. The garlic beef is incredible, so much so that I ordered an extra to go and bring down to DC with me. The crispy rice was interesting but the dumplings and garlic beef are the way to go. Looking for excusing to go back to Brooklyn and get more!

ended up by accident on this side of the East River. we missed our SOHO reservation and being en route to Kings Theatre, we were looking for a place to eat on Kalb. This restaurant is in a basement foodcourt. service was variable, depending on the staff member. appetizers were not very special (dumplings). The entrees were much better. shredded duck with ginger and salt/pepper shrimp were very nice.

We dined at Han Dynasty in the Dekalb Market in Brooklyn on a recent visit. Inside the market, the choices are overwhelming. We decided on Han as it was a sit down restaurant rather than most of the others were like a food court with open seating. The menu is extensive. Our waiter, Carl, described the menu to us and how the food was served. He explained that it was family style, so the dishes were large and made for sharing. I had lomein and my wife had beef noodles. We had the chili oil dumplings for an appetizer. Everything was excellent. Large servings and great food. The dumplings were so good, but they are rather spicy, so be aware. The other dishes have numbers beside them from 1-10 indicating the level of how spicy it is. Carl was a top notch server and we very much enjoyed our meal.

This is first rate Chinese food with an American accent. This is a small chain that was started in Philadelphia. We had: eggplant, scallion pancakes, fried chicken and veggie dumplings, chicken and veggie fried rice, double cooked pork belly, and salt and pepper shrimp. Service is functional, not great. Casual atmosphere with value prices.

Wow, tasty and hot. All dishes were covered in chili’s. The eggplant was quite good as was the tofu and the cold sesame noodles. We ordered a chicken dish called dry pepper chicken......fried and really dry! No sauce, no moisture. The rest was good/ok

Han Dynasty has several locations in the city. This one is in the lower level food court of the City Point Shopping Center. Han Dynasty seemed to be the only restaurant in the food court that has its own private seating and table service. It was lunch-time and they have lunch specials, but I decided to go for the chicken in a black bean sauce from the regular menu for $15.95. It came with white rice. I added a glass of pineapple juice for $3.00. My chicken dish was perfect. Loved it! The interior is fairly simple with mostly wood paneling on the walls and brass pipes overhead. They have some decor from the Orient giving the place a wee bit of an upscale feel. My only criticism is the beer selection: I didn't see any light beers listed and that's why I went for pineapple juice..

I have traveled for long periods in China, and found that the 'chinese' food in restaurants in the U.S. seldom is close to being authentic, and rather bland by comparison. Moreover, food in China has very distinct regional differences. In particular, the spicy food found in Szechuan, Yunnan and Hunan provinces is almost never found in the U.S. This is what makes Han Dynasty special. So be prepared - the food you order might be quite a bit spicer than what you normally might expect! But if you want the real thing, carefully prepared and beautifully served, then eat here. We tried the cumin chicken - very unusual; the shrimp in garlic sauce - excellent; the tofu pot, fried greens, the scallion pancake, cold sesame noodles, vegetable fried rice; all different from what we normally find elsewhere. A real treat.

Located in the Dekalb Market Place, this is a nice sit-down restaurant among the hub-bud of the vendors in the market. The wait-staff is totally attentive, friendly and professional. I had the cold sesame noodles which arrived in a bowl with enough for 3 people as an appetizer. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. I had a chicken / Chinese vegetable dish. The spice rating was "3". That was perfect for me. The spice ratings go from 1 - 10. I plan to return many times.

This restaurant is well worth a visit, it is hidden away in the basement of the City Point shopping centre, we were lucky to find it but it turned out to be one of the best meals we had while in Brooklyn. The food is excellent and served piping hot, the service is efficient and the staff are friendly and helpful Wished we had time to come here again, I would have no problem in recommending this restruarmnt
