Martha’s Country Bakery is our favorite bakery in NYC

Martha’s Country Bakery is one of our favorite bakeries in NYC especially for their Berry Napoleon and 7-Layer Chocolate Cake. The decor at this location is bright, clean and wide-spaced. The staff was friendly and attentive, but kind of slow. We ordered a custom cake over the phone and did a pickup at assigned time. However, the cake was not ready at the time and we waited there for about half hour. We were fine since we were not in hurry and the cake was still delicious.

Sweet Tooth Paradise

This place is heaven on earth. If you are in Brooklyn, you have to go to either one of the locations or both. They have every dessert you can imagine. I went to both locations on two different visits and had the carrot cake and something else I can't remember but both desserts were excellent!

Amazing bakery

This is definitely worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth. One cant go wrong stopping here for dessert and coffee. The pastries are brilliant as is their ice-cream. However, my only grouse was that they heated up the peacan pie which is not my preference of eating it.

Worth a Visit!

My husband and were staying in Williamsburg for several days and wandered around to find some neighborhood gems - Martha's Country Bakery was one of them! Delicious cappuccino's and the triple berry pie and cheese danish were fantastic! We will be back!

Birthday cake extraordinaire

We needed a cake for our cousins birthday so my son ordered from Martha’s in Brooklyn. Closest in subway to Manhattan. The picture shows how great it looked and it was just perfect ... fruit was very fresh inside and on top and cream just right ...not too sweet. Our family have used the other locations and had great experience.

Great place for a declious dessert.

Got a tip about this place from a waitress at a restaurant. I would never have found this place if it was not local knowledge. The selection of deserts if phenomenal. I was surprised at the wide selection of treats. I got the pumpkin pie, it had that beautiful glaze on top. It was yummy.

Lovely Bakery

All I can say is what a selection of pies, pastry’s & cakes, and the best cappuccino I had whilst staying in Williamsburg. It’s a shame we only visited on our last day.

Great selection of sweets but they are way too sweet

They have great selection of sweets, The service was great, fast and courteous. I with they have breakfast menu with croissants and crepes. We got some cakes and brownie. Super sweet, very heavy. That’s why I graded them as 3 stars

Spoilt for choice

Literally every type of dessert you could ask for. It was so hard to pick. They also have a good range of speciality drinks. A must visit if you are in Williamsburg.

Very, very large selection

There is a huge selection and it looks beautiful. Husband had Cheese cake New York style and I had a cannoli, neither of them had much flavour but I cannot say there waa anything wrong.

Wow … amazing to see all the delicious desserts!!!! Perfect place to have an afternoon latte if you are close. Lots of tables for customers to sit and enjoy the incredible selection of treats!!!! I’m glad we discovered the bakery!
