Looking for a quick dinner to treat family that came back to airport after cancelled flight to pick us back up at 8 PM we called Maggiano's on the ride back to order carryout for 9 people. Asked the person who answered for suggestions and ordered several Italian dishes. She suggested the chocolate cake for desert. One piece was enough for all of us...wow. Anyway, the food was terrific. It was ready when we arrived at the dedicated take out area. Easy in and out. Loved it.

Yes, it's a "chain" restaurant, but do not be fooled - this place is as far from Olive Garden or Carrabba's as you can get. Being a full blooded Italian I can attest to the quality and taste. Our party had several plates from the pasta menu. The included free take-home pasta meal was a pleasant surprise. The calamari appetizer was cooked perfectly, a sure sign that the kitchen knows what they're doing. Everything from the drinks, fresh warm bread, service and atmosphere make Maggiano's well worth a visit

Great experience all around. We were so happy to see they still offer the $5 take home pasta which is such a great deal considering the price of restaurant meals escalating everywhere. The pasta dishes we had were really delicious and the service by Gianni was excellent. We can’t say enough about how Gianni provided service over and above what was expected.

Do you enjoy typing your full name, credit card number, effective date and security number onto your phone in order to pay your bill? That’s not for me. Recently at Maggiano’s I wasn’t able to simply provide my card to the server. I had to scan with camera and manually enter all the above info just to pay my tab. I’d sure like to hear from management what justifies this task for a paying customer. This is out of keeping with the great hospitality and attentive care by the staff when I enjoyed at my first visit to The restaurant.

We always make a point to eat at Maggiano's when we're in Jacksonville. We really appreciate the Gluten Free options and care they take for GF patrons. Chef will come out to your table to take your order and ensure that they're not cross contaminating your food! Potato soup is GF and awesome!

Service was great. The environment is fun and old fashioned. The walls have old pictures. Great setting that is casual and fun.
Our server made great recommendations and was very friendly. We advised that we were in a hurry and he made sure that our food came out quickly.
The food was decent. Was expecting more of a home style flavour whereas the pasta and sauce didn't taste homemade but instead, processed. Too bad as with such a great environment and setting, one would expect a classic Italian restaurant.

4 of us ate dinner last night at Mr. Good's (waiter) table in JAX Town Center. Received chicken with marinara...not marsala, which I ordered and a giant portion..waiter served, entertained and left quickly...other waiters responded for other needs. Huge serving but I left most of it. Lobster carbonara was OK but huge amounts of pasta. Caesar salad was great, once we got the second (shared) plate instead of a clean platter. We ABWA groups ate there many years in a row in Augusts and the food was great. I was very disappointed. Will not recommend to our Senior community.

Service and selection of items on the menu was very good. Portions were good, prices were fair for a dinner. They did not have a lunch menu or smaller portions for lunch. I had the lasagna, $18.50 , the red sauce was of a commercial brand . My wife started with a side salad, Caesar at $6.99, had the mushroom ravioli, $17.99. I had a Coke, $3.50 and my wife ordered a second glass of wine at $17.00 each. Bill total $87.05 and that is why I gave three stars for a lunch.

Got into town late afternoon on a Saturday and called for a reservation but were told it would be late. Went ahead and booked it and showed up about an hour early and they seated us immediately. Brought back fond memories of our dining experience at their restaurant in Dallas months ago. Fresh bread is to die for. We ordered the Chicken Picata and spaghetti with meatball. My wife is Italian and she swore the spaghetti was very close to her family recipe. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Cocktails were superb. Busy place in the midst of a shopping promenade. Highly recommend.

My fiancé brought me for my birthday and our waitress Cody was one of the best I have had ALL YEAR! He was extremely attentive and they normally don’t sing to you but he went above and beyond to do so per request 👏🏻👏🏻
He also recommended a desert that I would have never chosen and totally blew me away. I will be coming back and asking for his service in the future.
Thank you for making my birthday one of a kind at maggianos!!!

Had dinner here for the first time. Covid going on. Folks were spaced out nicely in the dining rooms. Our waiter Stephen promptly came to our table for drink orders. We started with Calamari which were lightly breaded and tender. I had Chicken Francese and my hubby had Chicken Arribriotta. Both delicious and too much food. Our waiter brought delightful lemon cookies to celebrate my husbands birthday which were great. Stephen was the nicest, most attentive waiter we have had in along time. We’ll be back!

The restaraunts lobby was full of unmasked individuals (yuck)
While the food is in general ok, the attitude and appearance are rather awful.
Waiter was trashy. While he was trying to sell me alcohol, he had no idea of pricing, his response was "no idea". Guess they just assume that everyone in FL is so addicted to adult beverages that they will be consumed no matter what.
Table cloths looked like a cheap diner.

The food was good with large portions. Arrived fast. Waitress was pretty attentive and very kind. A few disappointments. We had to ask for drink napkins bc the table was covered with puddles of water from our glasses and it was running all over making a mess . I proceeded to clean up the table as she walked away. She was told from the moment she asked what we were celebrating that we were celebrating a birthday. At the end of the meal she brought over a plate with a single upside down strawberry and 5 tiny lemon crescent shaped cookies . For the cost of the meal for 5 people it would be nice to have even a small brownie. This looked like it was shaken from a cookie box with a single berry to hold the candle . Just disappointing. Even Olive Garden offers a free dessert. Restaurants all over town offer a little birthday something even Tidbits gives a piece of cake. Just a thought to improve on that.

We were not disappointed at all. It very much mimicked the atmosphere and furnishings of the Atlanta location. We all enjoyed our pasta and I especially enjoyed the Mushroom Ravioli. My Daughter had four cheese ravioli and Husband had the Baked Ziti.
Small disappointment at desert: My Daughter had ordered the lemon cookies and they were very, very, very tiny. Three little moon shaped cookies came on her plate. I mean, small enough she could fit an entire cookie in her mouth at once. Not the biggest deal to complain about but she was looking forward to the cookies she remembered from the previous location. Apparently there had been some recent menu changes. Otherwise, no complaints, would come back and recommend to others.

We are there with another couple. We had reservations for 6:45pm on Saturday. This was our first time eating here. The hostess were very friendly and had us to our table on time. Our Server was Matthew who was friendly, knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Matthew did a great job! The food was fantastic: we really enjoyed the fried zucchini! Also Matthew recommend the butter cake for dessert which is something we would not normally order; however his suggestion was spot on! The place is well run! We will definitely be back!
