About
Lost Forty Brewing takes its name from the historic, storied forest that stands on 40 acres of Arkansas's last truly virgin soil in Calhoun County. We aim to craft beers as unwavering, wild, and uniquely Arkansas as the the land itself. Lost Forty, both the forest and the brewery, is part tall tale, a little bit of hearsay, a lot of history, a few facts, a big cast of characters and completely Arkansas. Every Monday we tap into a new beer. Join us for new beers on 'FreshCut Monday,' Burgers on BackBar Burger Tuesdays, FREE Brewhouse tours at 1:00pm and 2:00pm on Saturday, and for our Beer Brunch every Sunday form 10:30am - 3:00pm. Cheers!

This is one of my favorite spots in Little Rock, and it didn't disappoint. They have a regular line-up of beers as well as new ones. I had the Tropical Confusion hazy IPA, one of the new ones. It had the right balance between hops and tangerine without being on the sweet side. I paired it with the BLT (at the recommendation of the bartender), which was a limited-time special. It's only available when local heirloom tomatoes are in the market. I added avocados. Talk about a stuffed sandwich! It comes with a bag of chips, which I took with me. I was stuffed after the sandwich. Lost 40 doesn't use the cheap bacon and instead uses the thick-cut stuff. Lost 40 likes to source local ingredients when possible, and that's one of the reasons I like them. They also promote those ingredients, like in their 2nd Rodeo Lite Beer. It's made with Arkansas rice, and it says so on the label and on the beer menu in the taproom.

Visited with family for brunch and boy were we glad we did! Service was great, local coffee and food were outstanding too! We ordered donuts, made from scratch cinnamon roll, and smoked jalapeño pimento cheese spread as appetizers. Donuts were hot and fresh and accompanying jelly compote was a perfect pairing. Pimento cheese spread with house made large saltine crackers was fantastic! It also came with pickled sweet peppers that I could have ate an entire jar of. I wish I could comment on the cinnamon roll but my teenager had the entire thing gone in about a minute. Entrees consisted of breakfast pizza, pepperoni pizza, bacon, egg, cheese biscuits, avocado toast, blueberry pancakes, and a couple orders of Brekke enchiladas. You can’t go wrong with ANY of these choices. We would definitely go back next time we’re in Little Rock on a Sunday. Great experience and if the great food wasn’t enough, the service was friendly and inviting as well. Oh yeah, and they have a ton of in house craft beer and cider options as well. Great job guys!

This was near our hotel. So glad we went!!!!! We saw some families with kids as well as as retirees and twenty something's. Two soft drink options plus iced teas and the alcohol options. Staff suggested something to avoid some allergens, and it was smooth, cold and delicious. I will watch for the option locally. Pizzas are twelve inches. I enjoyed a sandwich and would happily munch and sip there any time. Staff is friendly all around. Apparently few order their single dessert, because we weren't asked, just handed the bill. We'd visit again.

Trip Advisor’s reviews has never let us down when we visit cities and where to eat…EXCEPT this time! I must say we will never return to this restaurant. It was Sunday Brunch. First of all they confused our wait time and when we were to be called for our table. Second, we finally got to our table after I told them there was one available . Third, after being seated we waited 5 minutes to be seen by a waitress. Fourth, after our order was taken it was 45-50 minutes before we actually received our food. After sitting there for 20 minutes I finally asked our waitress just how much long would it take, then she went back and asked and they said 20 more minutes. I timed them at this point it was 33 more minutes. Fifth, when we got our food…I ordered the hash brown skillet dish with eggs green chilies and sautéed onions. There were no onions or green chilies to be seen. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. He said they were mediocre. The waitress apologized for my hash brown dish and took it off the ticket. She also said that we get complaints like this all the time and the management won’t listen to them. It’s so sad. She was great. Too bad the food wasn’t ! Don’t go!

Nice setting! Friendly staff and a nice selection of beers, especially if you like IPA’s. As far as food goes, I am sure there are much better values elsewhere. Paid $12.50 for the pulled pork sandwich which was served with a small bag of potato chips. Not even homemade. Not much meat in my sandwich and what there was, was dried out and burned in spots. Seemed like the chef had added a ton of bbq sauce trying to disguise the problem! Mentioned to the waiter but he only said he would let the cook know. Disappointing. Had read about the great BBQ there. Will be trying out some place different tomorrow.

Outdoor patio is perfect to enjoy an afternoon or evening of tasty beers. Lots to choose from. We ordered flights and this was a great way to try all their beers. Food was good however our daughter likes only mild spices and we asked our server if we could just have the wings plain without sauce and she said that we could have them plain with sauce on the side. Our server told us to order the Buffalo sauce for her wings as she said it was mild but it was pretty spicy (as expected) so we ordered a second with the sweet and spicy q which also was spicy. The homemade ranch and bleu cheese dressings were delicious. Only wished we could have got those wings without sauce. Otherwise the place was terrific.

Good pub food. We went on a Sunday evening, not realizing they served brunch all day. So avocado toast and blueberry hotcakes with beer! All was good and fun! Seating is at long family style tables. Staff friendly and helpful. Good selection of beer! Large parking lot. Busy even on a Sunday evening! Prices reasonable

Stopped with friends. We are from out of state. The flavors of their brews were unique and very delicious! I was impressed they used one time disposable menus, their flatware was inside a sealed bag so no contamination. Felt very safe with their CoVid precautions. We shared several items, pimento cheese outstanding. Molasses bread with flavored butters! Great experience!

We arrived around 11:30am for Sunday Brunch. The place was very busy, but we were able to be sat inside without a wait. There are both inside and outside tables. The hostess and our server were very nice. The beer and the seltzer we tried were good. We tried both the iron skillet cinnamon bun with bacon and the cinnamon sugar donut holes served with a berry compote and both were scrumptious. We also tried the bacon biscuit sandwich and the sausage biscuit sandwich. The biscuits were large and delicious. The sausage appeared to be a homemade patty and was seasoned very well. This is a family friendly brewery, at least for brunch.

First time back at Lost Forty since Covid - Sunday brunch was busy, but there was someone to seat us so we didn't have to stalk the tables for a seat. Outdoor seating was available but had a longer wait. Food took about an hour to come out (we were warned when we sat down that this was how long it was taking) so we were glad we ordered a few appetizers that came out of the kitchen much more quickly. Service was friendly. Golf on TV. Perfect Sunday brunch spot!

The Lost Forty offers several beers on tap, plus very good food, including pizzas and sandwiches. We sat at the bar, and enjoyed our meal. My companion raved about the beer he tried, and we even bought some drinking glasses as a souvenir. (Also available were T-Shirts, etc.) Plenty of parking at an off-the-beaten path location that is well worth seeking out.

I love to visit local breweries when we travel. We were headed to canoe Bayou DeView so stopped in Little Rock on our way east. The Cuban pork sandwich was awesome, rockhound my favorite brew, but the big surprise was the homemade strawberry shortcake. My oh my, served hot from the oven in an individual skillet with a flaky crust and a dollop of vanilla ice cream. It was worth the trip if that’s all we’d had! Save room for dessert and share with your friends at Lost 40.

We went here tonight for dinner and drinks. I liked this place right away. They have a large outdoor patio area and an even larger indoor area. The place looked and was very friendly. As usual for us we sat at the bar. Nick, our server was nice and offered advice on the brews and food. Thank you Nick. The beer was really good! I started with the Trash Panda IPA. Very Tasty. My lovely wife had the Hard Seltzer Rasberry Lemonade. I thought it was good but underwhelming. For my second brew I had the Rockhound IPA. Once again a tasty brew. For dinner I had the Cuban Grilled Cheese sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich had cheese, bacon, pickles, bacon and more bacon. I couldn’t eat it all! My wife had the Cobb Salad. It had bacon too! She loved it! My only suggestion is to change the Lost 40 logo color on the glasswear to black. The current white logo color doesn’t show well. I wanted to buy one but didn’t because the logo was hard to see. Great place!

The food was outstanding. The menu was small so we were a little skeptical but the Cuban and the pizza served us well. Beer menu was really good and the service with all the shortages everywhere was prompt and excellent. Highly recommend

My friend and I stayed the night and decided to check Lost Forty out as we’d seen it on a couple of travel forums. The beer was great! I got the Lil’ Wheezy IPA and she got the Love Honey Boch which were both really good. We’re from Texas and therefore know good queso, so we were a bit skeptical of this Arkansas cheese dip we kept hearing about. But we ordered theirs and were so impressed! The cheese dip was awesome!! Definitely recommend! Also, our server Elijah was great! Super nice and helpful!
