Found by accident rather than recommendation - but very glad we went in. Had an early dinner (6pm) and a couple of drinks. Food was very good as was the service. Huge place but not so noisy you cannot have a conversation with the people you are with.

We found this place largely by accident a couple of years ago. It is just a block from where we often stay when we're in NYC. Despite the accidental nature of our discovery, we find it to be a great place. Good food, open late, nice staff. Music on the weekends. We've been back twice, most recently in May of... More

We came here to have a few Drinks before the Yankees game. It was very enjoyable aside from the lady at the bar pouring me the wrong drink despite me trying to stop her. She was totally tuned out and disinterested. When I pointed out it was the wrong drink and I had tried to stop her, she didn't seem... More

A nice spacious pub that gives an immediate break from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. I found the staff warm and efficient, food was basic pub grub but very well cooked and presented and there was a good selection of beer on offer. I liked the atmosphere in this place and never felt rushed to leave when I... More

We were met at the door by a gentleman with a delightful Irish accent. He told us he was from Belfast and seated us immediately. I had the bangers & mash, one friend had soup and the other had brisket. The Irish cream creme brulee was delicious. All of us agreed the food was good. Service was fast and friendly.... More

Great pre-theatre for the family. Wonderful, friendly service. Food for the most part was good. Despite being billed as an "Irish Pub", the menu ranged from fried calamari, to salads, to fish and chips, to sliders, and much more. Loved that pint of Guinness.

we were running behind schedule and it was 1:10 pm. The matinee for the Broadway show was for 2:00 pm. We reviewed the menu outside the pub and saw a good selection at a reasonable price; and the hostess said that we could be served ASAP so that we could stroll down the street to the Lyceum Theatre. I ate... More

This is a large Irish restaurant that was located next to the theater that we were attending on a raining Tuesday evening in New York. It hosts an extremely long bar, well appointed seating areas and a great vibe/atmosphere for those dropping by after work or prior to attending a Broadway show. The food was very good (I had the... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
