Nice location with reasonable access to on-street and lot parking. Comfortable atmosphere. Great reservation desk and excellent telephone attendance and guidance to the restaurant. Food quality is moderate plus and pricing was reasonable.

Great neighborhood restaurant with a wide variety of food, literally something for every palate. The wait staff were energy filled and helpful. The chocolate soufflé was simply excellent and a good way to end a delicious dinner!

Stumbled upon this place by complete accident late on a Friday. Short wait for a table listening to some great live music. Got seated and had some great steaks and wine in a fine atmosphere. Not to be missed!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

We are a Classic American Steakhouse in the heart Greenwich Village. Wood panel walls, and comfy booths, give the feel of an earlier era. In business for over 40 years, serving Great American Fare and our Famous 28 oz T Bone Steaks. We feature Live Jazz on Friday and Saturday Evenings starting at 9:00 till 1:00. Harry Connick Jr. got his start at the Knick. We have our share of local celebrities from Chris Noth, Alec Baldwin, F. Murray Abraham, Josh Charles, Jessica Lange, just to name a few. Good Food & Good Jazz is what we are. Most items are all made on premise, from house made desserts, ice creams and sorbets, to our house made pastas and house smoked salmon, and our popular Caviar Pie. We pour a good drink at reasonable prices, as are our portions of food. Our T Bone Steaks include creamed spinach and mashed potatoes.
