Avoid, avoid, avoid unless you want to patronize a nasty owner with a huge chip on his shoulder who changes the prices each time and has no care for a loyal customer since day 1 but they could care less about their customers. I highly...recommend Pizza Italia at 307 W 17th St, New York, NY 10011. Twice the cost but the food is twice as good and REAL Italian take-out. One of the rare places that has veal. Will never step foot in that dump again!More

Not sure what taste buds are judging this dirty and dingy pizza place that is laughed at in the neighborhood but it’s not anyone from nyc or that knows pizza for that matter. The pizza sits for many hours due to lack of customer flow...and doesn’t seem like they really care. Surely “J” is not using any real Italian care. Dominos would be a cleaner and better choice for the taste buds that gave this anything more than poor. Just say’n.More

J's is a great, quick stop for slices of pizza. It's nothing special, but the dough/crust is good, and the red sauce is also very well seasoned.

Enjoyed some great Pizza at J's in Chelsey. They have weekly specials with a good variety of pastas.

This pizzeria, located in the 7th, is a small place but pizzas are very good. So you could stop there to eat and continue your visit of Manhattan.

For years when I lived in Chelsea, I used to frequent this pizzeria on a weekly basis. Every time I return to NYC, I always return to 7th Avenue & 16th Street. The staff has been the same for years and the pizza is still...top notch. One of my favorites in NYC!!More

Good selection of pizza...busy so pizza fresh. Workers a bit on the "I don't care" side but hey its just a slice or a pie. Place small and get be a little cleaner.

My son lives in Brooklyn and told me that this is his favorite pizza place. The restaurant makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in.We ordered and got our drinks. I found out quick that you order drinks without ice due to limited...refills. This would not have been necessary because they asked us if we would like refills. We ordered and I started to pay and was told to wait when he wasn't as busy.I would have never expected this in New York. The pizza was good but mine was a little burned on the bottom. It was still the best pizza place we visited while we were in New York.More

Excellent pizza, above average for NY. Decently priced, always looks fresh and very tasty. I live nearby and pop in frequently. Recommended.

Great Pizza and a decent price. Owner didn't speak good English, but was very welcoming. If I was ever in area again, I would come back!
