We have been going to Arturo’s on our first night of every visit to NYC for over 12 years and it’s always been a highlight and it remains consistently excellent. It’s always the same; friendly, welcoming, with great jazz music, a friendly neighbourly feel, great...More

Deceptively simple menu. 5-6 Pizzas, 3-4 Salads, 4-5 Appetizers, 4 items on the chal board - BYOB. The Pizza fresh from the oven - a little bit charred and a wonderful chew to it. All ingredients feel fresh and "real". Hard to get it -...More

If you are looking for pizza in Greenwich Village, Arturo's is the real deal. It is an old school, neighborhood pizza joint, with two sizes of well-priced pizza including a large variety of potential toppings. Lots of appetizers to choose from, particularly seafood-based apps, and...More

Visited Arturo’s for the second time in April 2018. The pizzas are still big, with good toppings and the tastiest coal-oven bases. You CAN taste the difference. The crowd is a mixture of tourists, locals and students - it’s busy and lively, but welcoming too....More

The atmosphere in this Italian restaurant in Greenwich was friendly and service quick. Loved the wonky pictures on the wall adding to the Italian charm. The pianist added to the experience and its popular here for food and drinks.

This place was packed when we arrived, but it only took about 15 minutes to get in. The place is decorated with a very old school Italian charm. The pizza was amazing and didn’t take long to get it after ordering. There was a small...More

A local barman recommended this restaurant, we had a little bit of a wait for a table but the that's always a good sign. It felt like there were a lot of locals and so didn't feel touristy. The food was pretty good with decent...More

The place is full of locals and NYU students. Almost always a wait. Very friendly, blue collar type, bar clientele. Good pizza, pasta and full bar. All reasonably priced.

We came here with friends who have been here several times before. It was as delicious as they described. I didn’t have the pizza, mainly because after eating pizza every day for four days...I wanted to try something else. I had the meatball sandwich and...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

No fee for reservations. You have to call the restaurant for a reservation that size but my guess is yes.
