The food was possibly the best French food. We had a special set meal for valentines evening. The waiters were friendly. Wine was excellent.

Amelie is now on the upper westside (Amsterdam Ave. between 87th & 88th Streets) in addition to the one in the village. It is an unpretentious French bistro, cozy and friendly. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we were given complimentary glasses of...More

My son and I had dinner here before a show on Broadway. He enjoyed the Hudson Valley foie gras while I enjoyed escargot to start. The fantastic bread is brought out in these cute little burlap bags, but you don't want to fill up on...More

To start we ordered the crostini variety, olives, and tuna tartare. The crostinis were delectable - I recommend the mushroom and salmon crostinis the most. The tuna tartare was the star of the night. Fresh and tangy, with a crunch factor from the cucumber and...More

La cuisine d’amélie on the upper west side. In continuing our visit to New York, we started investigating the restaurants in close proximity to our hotel. This being winter, one doesn’t want to venture too far out in an unfamiliar city when it is freezing....More

Great atmosphere. Good wine selection. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive, even when it got a bit crowded. Plenty of choices for pescatarians. The creme brulee was heaven!

Definitely had high expectations for Amelie and we were not disappointed. We had a table for two by the window and it was perfect... snow outside, warm and cosy inside with a great choice of food and wine. Started with the French Onion soup and...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
