A legit Irish bartender, great service, tasty food and excellent entertainment (Derek Dempsey the nights we were there). Yes nights, we meant to go once but the experience was so good, we went back AND we'll go back agian the next time we're in NYC.

After cruising for 8 nights having lots of fancy food I was craving some real good plain food so we stopped in here for a dinner, I had sherds Pie and my partner had an Irish Stew both were so tasty and the meal portions were most generous.

Great service and staff. Ask about "The new Drink" Bartenders Peter & Max created. - S.I.M.H.R. But don't be shocked by what it's served out of. Great place, and reasonable drink prices compared to other NYC bars.

I stumbled upon O'Briens a few years ago. I was drawn in because I like Irish food and the prices were fair for being in Times Square. The meals are nothing that stand out but they're not bad. My most recent visit however has made me not want to go back. The waitstaff is very attentive, kind, and helpful. For... More

We just popped in from the cold, for a few drinks. The staff were all welcoming & friendly and we got a table & seats no problem. As expected of an Irish bar in NYC it was indeed loud, but the atmosphere was warm & friendly. There were plenty if sports TV screens too. At $7 a (not-quite a) pint,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile

Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
