This small Irish Pub is just one block from Time Square. We just went in for a beer and we ended up staying for dinner. Peter, out bartender made us feel like home. He was extremely nice and friendly. The food was awesome... and had one of the best Irish dishes ever. Definitely coming back next time we are in... More

The music was so loud needed ear plugs. The chicken vegetable soup was good. The pastrami wrap was good according to my husband. The Guiness beef stew was worse than at local diner but bread with it was nice. Not going back.

So, when you walk into an Irish bar and ask for a few different types of Irish Whiskey and you get a blank stare from the bartender, something may be wrong. We got past that and had a good time. Music wasn't too loud. Crowd was good, no issues. Pint was $7 and shot was $8.

Travelled from Scotland to visit NYC and frequented a number of Irish bars around Times Square including O'Brien's - nice atmosphere, friendly barmaid and would recommend a pint or two of the establishment's own O'Brien Ale.

Good place to hoist a glass with some friends. Couple tvs around to watch current sports program. Bathroom is really tight so... More

My group of 9 stopped here on a rainy Sunday for a late lunch. We got a table upstairs. Our waitress was very nice, but not very attentive. We'd ask for things (straw, napkins, etc and she would disappear for awhile and then we'd have to remind her again. The food was good pub fare, but nothing overly special.

This is a great place to catch a bite, in the middle of Times Square! From the moment I grabbed a seat at the bar, the bartender Max treated me like I was family! You really got the sense that friendships have been developed over the years between Max and his clientele! And now to the amazing cheeseburger, topped with... More

Came here on St. Patrick's Day and I am very glad I chose this bar. Exactly what an Irish Pub should be. The staff was friendly and the music exactly what I was looking for. They even had people playing bagpipes for the Holiday. What I loved was that I was able to make a reservation ahead of time even... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
