Fantastic restaurant. Amazing fine dining experience. The food was really delicious and the wine was great. The staff was very friendly.
Worth every penny, or I should say every hundred. We ordered the pre-theater pre-fix and every dish was fantastic. Also quiet enough to talk. Highly recommended.
Your marvelous recommendation is appreciated by everyone here. It would be our privilege to welcome you for another memorable dining experience! Best Regards, Elvir Dzananovic, Boulud Sud
The food is always very refined. There is a special attention to details and balance in all sauces. Great wine selection also to pair with food. The signature grapefruit dessert is a special treat you should not miss.
Dear Olivier, we appreciate you sharing the aspects of your dining experience you enjoyed most. It would be our pleasure to have you visit again! Best Regards, Elvir Dzananovic, Boulud Sud
Being adjacent to Lincoln Center, I had wanted to check BS out. Nice room with clean lines. We chose a "for the table" appetizer and 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine. There was no room for dessert. The variety of appetizers in 2 categories...is large, and I could imagine making a light pre-theater meal out of these choices. We really enjoyed the sardines. The chicken tagine was the star. What a flavorful dish! The portion is large, certainly enough for 1 1/2 people with a deboned breast, deboned thigh, and leg (with bone) served. A pasta course with seafood was more like a seafood broth with pulverized seafood. With the chicken tagine such a large portion, we had no room for the sumptuous-looking grapefruit dessert. My hits go to the service. The description of the pasta dish was inadequate. Our bottle of wine was not poured frequently enough, with us going empty twice. This shouldn't happen. The wine was far away from our reach. At the end of the meal, we even had to ask the waiter if there was wine left in the bottle....there was. This wine service must be improved or just order by the glass.More

Some light snack and a glass of wine before the opera. It was not bad but the place was absolutely packed and even though the waiters did their best, service was catastrophic. Overpriced as well, so… difficult to recommend, but maybe the offer is better...at a more “normal “time?More

Excellent dinner. Waitstaff were gracious, attentive and responsive. Food was delicious. Particularly noteworthy: asparagus-leek soup, Moroccan chicken tagine, sea bass. Not to be missed: the grapefruit givre dessert (Sesame Halva, Rose Loukoum, Grapefruit Sorbet)
Thank you for taking a moment to share the highlights of your dining experience! It is phenomenal to know that your dinner was excellent, and it would be our pleasure to welcome you again. Best Regards, Elvir Dzananovic, Boulud Sud
Has been our pre Lincoln Center event dinner indulgement for several years. The front staff is best of breed, welcoming, professional, attentive. The menu courses are extraordinarily creative and deftly prepared. I continue to be awestruck by the Grapefruit Givre dessert, it's a complicated and...complex preparation that requires an astrophysicist to understand. Absolutely brillant, a dessert prepared not for the Gods, but by the Gods!More
We appreciate your gracious remarks about our attentive service and creative courses! Thank you for taking a moment to share, and please know we look forward to welcoming you again. Best Regards, Elvir Dzananovic, Boulud Sud
We expected a good meal at at Boulad restaurant, but was served a great meal. Food and service were both wonderful As we had a 7pm show at Lincoln Center we did the fixe prie menu available from 5 pm to 7 Appetizers fluke was...outstanding so delicate with a little spice. Falafel was herby and crisp. Probably one of the best I have eaten Mains. Husband raved about the steak said it was excellent meat cooked to perfection. I have the chicken Tangine which was excellent. You could name the spices, each had a distinctive note Dessert. Rice pudding was very flavorful and the grapefruit sorbet was memorable tasted like you just picked the grapefruit Service from the moment we checked in to the waitstaff were friendly and very professional Highly recommendMore

Extraordinary Mediterranean food. A fusion between Mediterranean and northern african culture. The glacé of meat slow cooked and the grapefruit dessert both deserve a M star!!

Outstanding service and a good eats before any production at Lincoln Center. Very considerate toward any food allergies or issues. Very good sea bass and salmon, mushroom soup, and desserts. Pricey but our motto is that it’s worth it as long as it’s something we...can’t make at home…More

Several years ago, we had a rather “OK” dining experience; however, we decided to give it another go. So glad we did! Everything was great! The service was excellent, attentive and personable. The food was fantastic! Also, our daughter is gluten intolerant, and the staff...did a wonderful job accommodating to her dietary needs.More

Decided to book here after a show at Lincoln center. When I booked, the reservation asked if it was a special occasion, which it was: my husband's birthday. Arrived and seated. Then we waited for a while. Someone arrived a bit later, and took drink...orders. We looked at the menu, because it was late, decided to split starters and a pasta. Drinks were delivered along with bread. We split the mezze and the lamb flatbread. The flatbread was absolutely delicious. Mezze was good but nothing spectacular. Then the shrimp in garlic and the agnoletti. Pasta was sensational, shrimp dish lovely. Service was fine. Decide to not have any dessert as we were full. The bill came and the entry for a cocktail seemed odd: line item for a gin and a $3 up charge. I didn't understand and asked for an explanation which when described made sense. What was not okay was the server saying, "I'm not trying to rip you off". That never occurred to me. In addition, no mention/acknowledgement was ever made of the special occasion, so why do you bother asking? Can't see us returning here since our first visit was also marred by some service issues,More

first time at Boulud Sud, after a number of satisfied visits to Bar Boulud nearby. there were 2 of us and every dish was superb, especially the pulpo a la plancha appetizer, which was the best version of this dish i have ever had. The...chicken entree, filled with indian spices and matched up with couscous, was also magnificent. the wine list was pricey but you could still find decently priced (given the wine prices these days) option. Service was excellent, until the place filled up, but by that time we were done. It is a beautiful space, with a great bar. Highly recommended. Will come again.More

We had dinner on 8/12/2022. We were quite excited about this restaurant. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by staff. Once seated, it was a different story. Our server only gave us the restaurant week menu when others were given both restaurant week and...regular menus. I had to ask for the regular menu. Our wine glasses were almost immediately removed from our table. It was only when I asked for the wine list that the server left one glass for me. When I asked my nephew if he wanted wine, the server immediately said that my nephew isn't drinking because he will ask for an ID. I said my nephew has ID. Then the food came. The wait staff couldn't tell us clearly what we ordered. Then one wait staff asked if we wanted more sparkling water, so I said no but would like another glass of coke for my other nephew. He came back with another bottle of sparkling wine and proceeded to pour. I had to tell him that I didn't order another bottle of water but that I ordered another glass of coke. When I received the bill, it had the two bottles of water on it. I had to tell the server that I didn't order two bottles. He immediately removed it from my bill. The food was fine and the wine was good. The service left a bad taste in our mouths. This place is pricey and Daniel Boulud is one of the best chefs in the world. It was very disappointing that the service at this place was bad. I can't even justify the actions of the wait staff, whether it was discriminatory because my nephews looked very young and I would hate to think that we were judged by the wait staff. Service at Robuchon and Jean Georges are much better.More
