This restaurant was outstanding in all ways. Luncheon for 5, food was the best, ambiance great, service outstanding and all at reasonable prices. The locals at our table will be back and when I visit again it will be first on list. This restaurant serves Italian food, and I liked the taglieatelle with one giant meatball as an entree, and a piece of chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert. The entrance door is a few steps up, and a temporary ramp is available.
Dined at Coppola's on a late Friday evening. We did not have reservations, but they were able to accommodate two. The restaurant was at approximately 85% capacity, but due to the size, did not feel crowded. There was ample room between tables and chairs for...a comfortable dining experience. A bonus, as most NYC restaurants fill their dining areas to capacity and often times...exceed them. Due to the restaurants vast space, noise from other patrons was not an issue. In total we ordered 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine, an appetizer and 2 entrees. The total bill was $112.00....a bargain for fine dining in NYC. The service was excellent....water was refilled, bread and olive oil was replenished..etc. I highly recommend the Mussels as an appetizer and the Pesto Rigatoni as entree.More
Efficient friendly service and very good food. I had the homemade fusilli with pancetta and it was great! We are definitely going back.
Place was classy with excellent service. Had a 4 course meal which was delicious. Servers were attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
Place is quite pretty and the service is excellent. They have a very good menu but I wanted something a bit simple and not on the menu. They couldn't be nicer and the dish they made me was better than I imagined. We're definitely going...back and it'll be soon. Should also mention that they have a beautiful bar.More
WEST SIDE REVIEW This was about the 3rd or 4th time I have had a dinner at Coppola’s and it never disappoints. This time around our table had the chicken parm, caesar salads, Pasta Fagioli soup and a margarita pizza. The pizza was good, but...not as good as I have had here before this visit. All the other items were excellent. Service was attentive. We all liked the atmosphere of Coppola’s. Walk into the restaurant and pass the bar area then step down a step or two to the small narrow dinning area. Kind of like what you would expect of an old time Italian restaurant where maybe you would see Vito Corleone dinning in the back with some of his friends. Of course this will not be the last time dinning at Coppola’s and already looking forward to our next experience here.More
We had dinner here last night. Great atmosphere. It can be snug for couples tho. The tables are close together which most restaurants are in NYC but if you have loud people next to you, you will not hear your companion. The drinks are strong....My meal was ok. I expected more flavor being in NYC and loving Italian food. The desserts are delicious. I would return.More
We made a reservation for dinner at Coppola's East while visiting NYC. The meal was decent, but the service was awful. Apart from the hostess warmly welcoming us it was clear that our waiter wanted to be anywhere but there. He was unfriendly and disinterested...and eager to rush us through our meal. As we were dining the rest of the staff were packing up the restaurant. The interesting thing is that there was a blackout the previous day which led us to an impromptu dinner on a chain restaurant that we wouldn't typically have fined in. What's sad is that incredibly busy chain restaurant in times square had outstanding service in comparison to Coppola's.More
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My women and I had a wonderful experience! We order seafood, Lobster, Crab, Shrimp, Fish.. ect.. It was super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! We ordered a white wine and one of their house special drinks, and it was delicious as well. We...will undoubtedly be back! Highly recommended!More
