After a warm and busy afternoon, we stopped by La Lanterna for cool beverages and shared sweets. So glad we did. We were seated on the rear patio, a charming greenhouse-like space. Iced cappuccino, iced cocoa (unsweetened) and shared cannoli and a delicious fruit torte....More

Came here with a group of coworkers for dinner. There were 7 of us, and we were seated on the back patio around two fairly small cafe tables pushed together. We were worried we'd be a bit cramped but it really wasn't a problem at...More

My family and I went here late night to dinner on our final night of vacation in New York. The waiter was phenomenal and had great dinner & wine recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely- quaint, cozy & candlelit. By far my favorite restaurant we visited!

Being from an Italian family, I am considerably picky as I do have high standards when it comes to Italian food. La Lanterna di Vittorio exceeded my expectations!!! Incredibly delicious food and wine, while the service was also attentive and fast. I will definitely be...More

This Italian is a gem. Within the restaurant, there is an outside terrace where you can sit cozy and very nicely. The lasagna is great but the wine even better. Waiters are very nice. We had cheesecake for dessert which was also really nice!

My wife and I fancied some decent Italian and we certainly got that here. We shared grilled sardines and a salad followed by a lasagne and prawns in with pasta. The wine choice is good. We were in the covered back garden area. It was...More

We love the bar upstairs for a pizza and bottle of wine before the show at the Blue Note. If you're going in the winter you'll want to snag a table by the fire for sure. Nothing is more fun than sitting by their big...More

Nice decor, warm and cozy in the heart of Greenwich Village. Exquisite lasagna and great desserts. The service depends on the waitress.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

The restaurant has plenty of tables for two and therefore the turnover is high - people are arriving and leaving frequently and even if they were busy I'm confident you'd get a table within a few minutes.
