We had sushi, tasty and reasonably priced. We had a tempura appetizer which was very good and a Dragon sushi plate which was very good. Customer service was excellent. The restaurant was very small, but not uncomfortably so. Nice lunch!

They moved from 106 to Lex and 82 Street and are small but excellent preparations. Service is a bit limited but it is done properly and with finite. Nice to dine here in a quiet and thoughtful place. Have been here several enjoyable times with my wife as well Highly recommend

We found this Japanese by accident, and went back 4 times in a week. The food was fresh, tasty, authentic. Great chefs.

A delightful surprise, with excellent food, both sushi and cooked, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Not very big, but they do take out and delivery.

Ichie serves not fine dishes but traditional Japanese cooked by old Japanese couple. It’s inexpensive, and the nostalgia atmosphere there is very cozy. No noisy music inside. Recommended if you want to take a rest or enjoy conversation at dinner time.

This is an unassuming sushi place, but it is a good one for the price. The fish is perfectly fresh and the rice is delicious; order one of the "omakase" menus (which aren't, strictly speaking) and get a stomach-ful for under $40, including beverages.

Let me start that I had a doubt about a Japanese restaurant above 96th Street. This was the first time - and the last - that we order from that place (delivery): S11. Sashimi Regular 12pcs assorted fresh fish was not fresh. It might have come from a beached whale or beached tuna. Definitely not fresh. It smells. K1. Chicken... More

Small, informal, authentic Japanese. The Sashimi was really excellent. Fresh/couldn't get enough. This is the reason I'm giving it 4 stars. However, Mm wife and son like sushi rolls. They didn't find them to be anything special. The prices were fair, except that I thought the special rolls, which were not all that special, were priced too high. I'd return... More

40 years ago, Broadway and 105th Street was the center of the Japanese world in NYC and now all that is in the area is "Ichie". A real Japanese restaurant, run by real Japanese with original Japanese food. The food in this small place is excellent, prepared and assembled as it should be. The service is attentive and friendly.
