Portions were small. Food is disgusting. Overpriced without giving anything worth the price. Will never go back.

Delicious food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely go again. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is a must for any carnivore The condition was 10/10 the food was 10/10 . I dont understandt the bad reviews
Great restaurant, attentive staff good food enjoyed my visit , and also they do serve halal steaks depending on supplier so always ask on the day otherwise the salmon is a good choice
disappointed with the attitude and vibe of one staff from Nusret NYC. he’s the tallest among all staff with beard and middle aged. if not mistaken he is Russian or Turkish. to keep up with Nusret’s reputation, this one staff needs to be replaced.
I get it that it’s an internet sensation and all that, but you really shouldn’t go unless you’ve got that much money to spare (it was pretty expensive...) First red flag: I had a table booked and confirmed. I went in 10 minutes earlier, and...was told to wait by the bar because the restaurant was full. Fine. Even though I had a reservation, I was prepared to accept that the restaurant was too busy. I waited for more than half an hour, people came and went. I could genuinely say that people who came after me were seated first. The maitre d was reluctant to give an estimate as to how long it would take for me to be seated. A guy came over later and started bringing the first people he saw into the restaurant. He then brought me in, I walked down this corridor and found that pretty much the whole room was empty.More
Very very god place with kind and serviceminded staff. The food was extremely good, and the location as well. They had an offer for 3-course for lunch for 39$, and it was VERY cheap. Would come back next time I’m in NYC - I was...in the restaurant in Meat packing Street near highlineMore
I got this for takeout and it wasn't even worth the price. I got the saslik with asparagus side and the baklava. The saslik was ok - meat was deliciously fatty but overcooked. I asked for it to be rare and it was given to...me medium-well. It also had too much garlic. Asparagus was unseasoned and had no garlic butter to speak of. Not worth $35. It wouldn't even be worth $15. The baklava was ok but not worth $15. Pastry was flaky but lacked the syrup you get from traditional baklava. The vanilla ice cream was cheap and overly sweet. The service was poor. Front of house person looked bored and took forever to get to us. Our waiters hardly ever came by, even when we needed more water. The over-the-top presentation was needless and ruined the eating experience. I don't need my food cut up for me, thanks. The baklava was crushed to a pulp by the server and just not enjoyable. Save your money. Don't eat hereMore
Overall 2 things are visible here. First the steaks and the meat(desserts) in general are really delicious. If you have nice meat and they cooked it perfectly nothing to complain. It was delicious. The baklava was great too. The second thing are the prices. Ridiculously...high prices :) I know its Nusret, I know is NYC but still...I will not compare it with other restaurants but we visited a Michelin start restaurant 3 days prior(for Christmas set menu) and we paid similar final bill ;). Its a nice place for steaks but thats about it. Service was good.More
Took my wife and children to celebrate my Birthday. Expected great quality meat, being a fan of meat and instead it was sub-standard, expensive beyond belief and really a hot dog from a cart would have been better in every way. This is a meme...restaurant first. It’s not a great eatery which became famous like I had thought. It’s just a gimmick but one that will cost you $300 per head and come nowhere near reasonable in terms of quality. The service was the best part, but the food ruined my Birthday as I felt robbed and it brought out evening to a close as a direct result. Don’t go, not worth it.More
Overpriced and rude. It is a decent enough steak house, but there are many better alternatives within a few blocks. Theatrics does not substitute for great food. After spending a lot of money for a very expensive meal to be asked to vacate the table...in under about 2 hours is just rude.More
Excellent steak cooked the way you like it on a Stone . Very expensive . Some steaks in the thousands. Dessert was delicious too but small.
The food was very overpriced for what it is, but it was so nice to be pampered for the night. The waitstaff are so attentive & perform in many different ways from the making of the steak tartare (recommend!) to the cutting of the steak....The restaurant is beautiful as well.More
Excellent quality, elegant and refined restaurant, delicious dishes however... Waiters are always around you and they clean up the table while you are finishing the meal and this is unpleasant with respect to the high standards that It has.
I’ve been to nusret in NY, the worst experience ever, we been seating for 40 mins, nobody come to us to get any order, we just run away, because it’s unacceptable.
