GREAT choice for breakfast! Don’t let the long lines dissuade you. Or better yet, get here early to beat the crowds. Especially on weekends. The place is small, but the team works hard to be efficient and turn tables quickly, without rushing diners. The food...More

We are early risers and it is a good thing, because most of the breakfast places have a long line after about 8:30. We have heard great things about Richard Walker's and wanted to try for ourselves. They were not wrong. This was one of...More

We arrived around 10am and had to wait for 45 minutes for a table. The queue is moving along quicker than it seems, we were at the very back next to the street corner. The food was good, nice breakfast, nothing exceptional taste wise but...More

Saturday morning, what looked like a l-o-n-g line was actually only 20 minutes. The staff at Richard Walker's really know how to keep things moving without feeling like you're being rushed at all. The inside is very small, but cozy. Everyone we interacted with was...More

My family and I went on a Sunday morning while visiting San Diego. We waited on the craziest line for this place, which made us think that the food was going to be spectacular. IT WAS NOT, I would say the pancakes are at best...More

Very nice, super clean and large breakfast restaurant in La Jolla. The menu is huge with tons of great choices. The service was excellent and breakfast was absolutely delicious!! I was pleasently surprised they offered both waffles and pancakes! The Belgium waffles were amazing! Yummy!

A little wait (20 minutes) to get a table. However, portion is big , service is quick and food are good. We have ordered 2 items to share among 3 people.

We got there and had to wait in line about 15 to 20 minutes. It was worth every nanosecond that we invested. We are both dairy and gluten-free and we were able to have an amazing pancake breakfast. It was so delicious and so great!...More

Description
Since 1948, the Walker family name has become synonymous with quality family dining. The family has since perfected its reputation for outstanding gourmet pancakes and breakfasts. We offer a large variety of gourmet breakfast and lunch items, including pancakes, crepes, waffles, omelettes, Belgian waffles, and more! Richard Walker’s starts with the finest blend of whole Prime Roasted Coffee beans sourced from Central America with all its sealed-in flavor intact. Then, we ground just enough for each pot of coffee – one pot at a time. That rich, full-bodied flavor and aroma is retained in the freshly ground coffee itself. From there, it’s only a matter of a minute from the whole bean to a cup of the best coffee you have ever tasted.
