A trip to Molinari's is a must for every San Francisco visit! You get to pick out your bread and then they fill it a mile high with your selection of meats, cheeses, veggies, and sauce. We usually stop to get an extra one for...More

On our way to the Coit tower we grabbed a couple of sandwiches, we had the veggi and the eggplant sandwich. Were both really nice and substantial. As an Italian thumbs up for this place however it’s not exactly cheap.

This was part of our tour. The sandwiches were great and much was homemade. The cheese and meat selection inside the store was amazing.

Popped in for a meatball sub and ate at the tables outside. Incredible meatballs, marinara sauce, mozzarella and bread, never had a better sandwich. Great service from the guys behind the counter as well.

This place is quite unique and reminds me the old italian style when they came to US. It's excellent to have a quick sandwich in here.

A ver old time San Francisco tradition. Try to go early or late as it gets very busy with tourists and locals at lunch. If you don’t want to wait the neighborhood is full of terrific places to eat.

I'm a big fan of Mortadella ham so went for the Mortadella sandwich as soon as I saw one was available. It was really tasty and came with a generous amount of filling in a soft loaf. Molinari's is a great little deli, wish there...More

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique
neighborhood decorated with colorful shops, historic
streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs
awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,

Sorry I never noted any gluten-free foods there - wasn't a focus for me. They might sell some gluten-free uncooked pasta; but don't believe their deli foods selections (sandwiches or salads) have a gluten free... More
