I had a very fun lunch in Benihana. Lovely food and lots of it! I especially enjoyed the egg fried rice.

This is the 3rd Behihana restaurant I have been too and they all are becoming the same, overpriced fried food with a boring show, dirty atmosphere and tasteless food. The wait is always long, the smell is always of smoke, and the floors, furniture, walls,...More

I had lunch here on 02/18/18 with a friend. This is the typical Benihana style restaurant. It's fun for the whole family. The food is unremarkable, but you go here for the experience. I would recommend you try it for special occasions. Total for two...More

I had dinner this week: the live cooking show was great and entertaining, the food was very tasty and the service OK. 2 major drawbacks: the smell (I'm still smelling the food 2 days later) and the dirt: the floor was plenty of food from...More

Great for a one-time experience for the showmanship, but nothing more. We had reservations but still had to wait a short while to be seated. Each table seats eight, so they wait until everyone is there before they seat you. Initial drinks are served in...More

Stop in for Holiday lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the great value for the Lunch Boat which came with soup. The boat had salad. Sashimi, shrimp and vegetable tempura and rice topped with fresh orange!!!

The restaurant focus was more on the show, theatrical performance than the food. It's a fun night out for groups and families so they could watch tricks performed by chefs. Food was ok not great. The filet Mignon cut was really tender but the Rocky's...More

What can I say, it's Benihana- the food is mediocre at best (and downright bad by San Francisco standards) as well as grossly overpriced, and service and cleanliness are just so-so but it's all about the show and kids absolutely love it. We visited late...More

I did not notice one but they might. It was pretty crowded when we were there so there could have been a separate room for such an occasion. It is quite noisy in there so you would definitely want to check to see if they... More

Teppan rables can seat 8 persons but you can split party into 2 adjacent tables. I recommend an advance reservation. Birthday person receives a "free dinner"!!!!
