We are Lebanese Americans and it is hard to find good Lebanese dining out. We ordered the mezze plate and it was great! The kibbeh had a hint of cinnamon to it which made it all that better. The hommus was served smooth with Zeit;...More

I gave this cozy and charming restaurant five stars because it met or exceeded all of my expectations. Even without reservations on a Friday evening, they graciously found a table for our party of two. I had taken a look at the menu online before...More

A great spot for pre-theater or concert dining. 3 blocks from SF Jazz Center and 4 from Davies Hall. Very large menu with both small and large plates. Wide variety of dishes, nicely prepared and seasoned. Good variety; especially for vegetarians. Wine is available. Have...More

Mr. Sothoth occasionally likes to go to the symphony or the opera. Getting a decent affordable meal before curtain time can be a challenge. But not anymore, because you can visit Mazzat. I work in the leafy confines of San Bruno, and Mazzat has an...More

This place sells great Lebanese food but seems to want to be a wine bar as well. I'm not a fan of the shawerma (had much better elsewhere) but loved the halloumi, hummus, batata hara, fatoush etc. Fast service, not too expensive. Its a small...More

Our third visit to this Lebanese restaurant in Hayes Valley. We booked this time- worth doing as it is small and gets busy. Good selection of hot and cold dishes. Good for vegetarians and wheat -free diners. Try Lebanese wines!

Where I'm from there's a huge Lebanese community so I've tasted authentic Lebanese food as well as in many restaurants in Beirut. I would say the food here is quite authentic & delicious! The chili humus, batata harra, labneh, and 'pizza' made with feta, tomato,...More

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. We often eat Lebanese food at home and this was different than we are used to but still very good. We tried about 8 different hot and cold dishes and enjoyed them. Service was attentive and good.

I can't figure out why this place isn't packed every night with people, this restaurant is a little gem in SF! Why? Well, the food is simply delicious if you like Mediterranean style, service is nice, price very cheap and there's always room to sit!...More

Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to
imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of
a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation
of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a
