Nice fresh food that you can normally find in europe and seldom in the US ( Boeuf Tartare, Escargots, Merquez, fresh home made ratatouille). Really good service too.

We ate two sandwiches here and turned out to be our most expensive dinner over the whole California holiday. Also, the vegetarian burger is NOT a burger, but an expensive panini with some veggie in, and the side of fries was super garlicky. Go elsewhere.

We had a wonderful early Sunday afternoon meal at Gamine. Wonderful food and great service. Escargot, mussels, ricotta ravioli--all outstanding!

Small group went for some interesting cuisine. Would not have expected such good quality from the outside, but one in was a warm and friendly restaurant with top quality food. The wine selection was great and our host chose perfect accompanying wines for each dish....More

Huge fan of their food but their service has improved greatly from excellent to stellar! Good and true dishes expertly prepared with few rotating specials that are always a great choice.

Dinner in San Francisco, at a favourite choice. French, done with American style. Great menu choices, and ok prices. Lamb stew was fantastic, Tilapia superb. Major plus is the very friendly and welcoming attitude of the restaurant, and its establishment, to one and all, especially...More

Sitting on the trendy Union Street area, Gamine competes well with many other little restaurants. From burgers to sandwiches, their French "twist" adds to the success of their food. Good service as well.

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
