Don’t mind eating in an old bowling alley that’ll bring you back to the 80’s? If so, you’ll definitely be in for a treat with delicious Hawaiian comfort food dished out by The Alley Restaurant located inside this joint. I think they serve the tastiest...chicken here out of all I’ve had on the island. They call it Tasty Chicken on the menu so that’ll be easy to spot. It’s oozing with flavor and an order is hefty with about 5 pieces. You can choose to order it by itself or as a plate with your choice of two sides for a little up charge. Rice and macaroni salad for me. What they’re really known for here though is their Oxtail Soup which was the main reason for our visit. We’ve heard from our local friends about it and we don’t regret listening to them. A serving can feed two but it’s hard to share when it’s too darn good. It was one unforgettable meal in a weird kind of nostalgic setting, and the food just hit home for me. P.S. Save room for dessert. Their Lemon Crunch Cake was a big hit in our party though I heard post-dining that their Chocolate Layer Cake is not to be missed.More

If I hadn't seen Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives many years ago when they reviewed The Alley, I wouldn't have known about the spectacular food at this place. So good I drive from one side of the island to the other to eat here! The Korean-style..."Tasty Chicken" is no doubt the tastiest fried chicken I've ever eaten. The quality of the Kalbi short ribs is off the charts. And the furikake ahi! Just amazing. Pumpkin crunch cake for dessert! I send people here all the time, and not one has ever had a negative review. It is THE BEST! Don't miss it!More

The food is amazing but the waiting is long. They need to also look the cleanliness of the place. Eating near the bowling alley is not comfortable if you’re not bowling, it’s noisy and dark

DDD recommended the Oxtail Soup. We thought we would give it a try. It was the very Best. The prices are very reasonable, portions are huge. Very filling but had room for lemon crunch cake. Will be back for sure.

Had to wait for table at theAlley at Aiea Bowl. That usually means it’s good and it was. The food was good and prices were reasonable. Service was friendly and good. Oxtail soup was plentiful and very good. Cake is a must.

Before my Husband and I left for the Hawaii Bowl game, we asked the valet at out hotel where the best place to eat in that area was. He said Aiea Bowl! We got there and my husband was skeptical about eating in a bowling...alley. We asked Our server what he recommended- he told us that Guy Fieri did a segment on the oxtail soup. We got the oxtail soup to share, spicy shrimp/salmon mix plate and garlic shrimp/ tuna mix plate We shared it all and everything was enjoyed! This was such a surprise and enjoyable meal. We were full, but we somehow stuffed in the lemon crunch cake to share as well!More

Since I always try to eat at a Triple-D restaurant when traveling, I thought I would stop by here and then bowl afterwards. We got there a bit after Noon and there were people waiting. We only waited about 10 minutes, so not bad, The...waitress was extremely friendly and happy to have us there. I tried the Oxtail Soup and it was excellent. So much food for a reasonable price. The others in my party were happy with their food as well. All had good portions at good prices. They had an excellent variety of desserts as well. Much more so than one would expect. The apple pie was really good. Their menu was pretty extensive and offered something for everyone. The speed of service was great as well. I would highly recommend people put this on their list of places to eat. And then bowl a few games after! :-)More
