Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! The restaurant is very clean! I looked into the kitchen, and every floor and counter was spotless.

I had never eaten at a Peruvian restaurant before and my family of 4 enjoy each of dishes. Greatly surprised and I will go back. Service was quick and friendly.
This is the best restaurant in the whole Wisconsin. Food is really peruvian, attention is the best. Highly recommended.
We had eaten at Chef Paz a few times and had always enjoyed the food before until yesterday. First, we were surprised to see that their printed new menu did not include prices; only a brief description of the food offered. I did not have...my phone with me so could not scan the Qcode for the menu. We ordered the Trilogia Marina. The jalea, or fried seafood, was terribly overcooked. The shrimp, mussels, and calamari were dry and encased in a dark brown fried batter, almost as if they had been refried to be reheated. The paella was OK but had very few pieces of seafood in it. The ceviche portion was really small, way too spicy (and we can handle spicy), and the pickled onions on top were not fresh nor crisp. When we got the bill, we did not think the dish deserved an almost $50 price tag. The only thing we enjoyed was the Maracuya drink and the cilantro sauce. We may try Chef Paz one more time and hope for a better meal, but we were really disappointed this time.More
—I arrived around 4:00 p.m. The atmosphere was alright. The waitress/owner? was friendly. I was seated immediately. —I ordered a ground beef and a cheese empanada appetizer which were served with what I think was a chimichurri sauce. They were moist and tasty and turned...out to be the best part of this meal. —For my main entree, I ordered the Peruvian “smoked pork”, which I expected to be moist, tender, and flavorful. What I got was a slice of what looked and tasted like dry, salty breakfast ham. I was extremely disappointed. —The pork was served on a platter with a basic salad with a vinaigrette dressing, yucca “fries”, and fried plantain. The dressing from the salad was all over the plate, so I moved the fried yucca and plantains to another plate. —The yucca fries were very dry and lightly seasoned with salt. The fried plantains were very tough, dry, and flavorless. I discovered that the vinaigrette actually imparted some flavor and moisture to them. —I definitely would not order the smoke pork dish again, but do plan to try something else on the menu at a later date. I have not yet given up on Chef Paz.More
On our way home from a day in Milwaukee, decided to try this on-the-way little gem of a restaurant. We opted to go for all appetizers, with the ceviche being the absolute star. Best I’ve ever had, a huge portion, and certainly makes me want...to visit Peru! Everything else was delicious. The only thing I wouldn’t order again was the yucca fries and sausage- just so-so. The vibe was super friendly, and the service was excellent. An absolutely lovely experience.More
Never experienced Peruvian food before, and it was excellent. The food was very flavorful and the cilantro sauce was outstanding. We will definitely be back to try other delights on the menu. My girlfriend has Celiacs and they had 3 main courses that were gluten-free...along with a couple of appetizers. All around great experience. Service was excellent as well.More
The Peruvian cuisine is well worth the trip. The restaurant is about food quality and not decor. They also take Covid-19 safety, seriously. As a foodie, the menu offered many options and the taste was out of bounds, to borrow the terminology. Every bite was...fresh, flavorful, and magical.More
My sister and I decided to try this little jewel one day for lunch - the service is amazing and the food is unbelievable. We had one of the soups - seriously having dreams about it, it was so good!!! The ceviche was so good...that we wanted to lick the plate, so fresh and one of the best we have ever had. The empanadas were to die for - dip them in the green sauce and YUM!!!! We will be going back, just delicious! Added bonus, it is kid friendly as well ☺️More
we visited Peru in December 2019 and were amazed by the delicious foods all over Peru. The ceviche, lomo saltado were spot on at Chef Paz and the bonus was that they had cusquena golden lager beer which is difficult to find in the usa....we highly recommend to anyone, as the food is full of flavor and you will want to return for more.More
Home made Peruvian cuisine. Nice for a casual dinning and if you want to eat sea food, rices and some other Peruvian specialities. Don’t forget to drink “pisco”, which a alcoholic beverage made of white grapes liquor.
Amazing authentic variety of food to sample before our planned trip to Peru! Enjoyed a pitcher of pisco sours and ceviche and empanada sampler to start. So many fine food options! Deserving of the Certificate of Excellence!
The food was wonderful, the service was friendly and fast. I am not an adventurous eater, but this was enjoyable -- Peruvian food that is different but not too "exotic". And a kids menu was available, which was nice.
We went there for my birthday and I was really looking forward to it after traveling to Peru in November and reading great reviews about it. The place itself is super small and we sat in foldable chairs so I got a little nervous until...I saw the menu and when the food arrived, it really transported me to Cusco. The food was absolutely delicious. It got so packed in there in a matter of hours that people were waiting for tables. I was bummed out that when I asked the waiter about the drinks, he didn't tell they had Chicha Morada and when we left I saw many customers drinking it. But other than that, everything was great!!!!!!More
We had 6 of us sampling everything which was ordered. Everything from appetizers to the main courses were unique for Chef Paz Restaurant and outstanding!
