Came with a party of five. Everyone's meal was superb and service was excellent too. Highly recommended. This would be our go-to restaurant if we lived in sturgeon bay

The best Italian, if not just the best fine food restaurant in Sturgeon Bay. Had the lamb shank and the stuffed pork chop. Both were excellent: well seasoned, good size portions. He tiramisu for dessert (house made!) was also very good, as was the service::...prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place,More

The food and atmosphere are outstanding. My wife is Italian and said this felt like being in her Nona's kitchen. We had a late dinner so we didn't go for the heartier meals. The shrimp and pesto appetizer was terrific. The ravioli in brown butter...was absolutely amazing. One note ... this place doesn't take parties of more than six, which generated the few negative reviews. They are very upfront about that and from our experience, and I expect they stick to that because so much attention is paid to each dish large parties would be an issue. If your group is or less don't miss this treasure. It is a fantastic date-night experience.More

I wish we had this restaurant in our home town. Food was excellent and nothing that I would cook myself. Service was efficient, professional, and friendly. Setting is a charming old building in the downtown area with high ceilings. The tables were widely spaced and...the staff all wore masks making us feel relaxed during one of our first dining out experiences since COVID19 started. Prices are moderate making this a real bargain for what you get. We shared the pesto and soft cheese appetizer (generous amount for two and really delicious) and the chicken and cheese ravioli with sage (a great pasta dish). The accompanying salad was fresh and generous with homemade dressing. We will make this restaurant a must stop on our future trips to Door County. AMore

We had a family reunion, and so they set us up with two long tables. Lovely setting, good food, nice service. A little bit limited on the Gluten Free options.

Excellent Restaurant. Better get there when they open at 5PM. otherwise first come-first served. No reservations. They had people standing in line to get it at 5PM. We were first. This is the first restaurant where my meal was still steaming from first bite to...the last. I do not know how they do it, but pasta was not wet but steaming. Wine was great along with the meal. The prices here are low and we appreciate that so much. The wine is good and a glass goes for $7! We really loved the fettuccine alfredo with Italian sausage. The Italian salad dressing was a bit bland and therefore I suggest you go with...the blue cheese dressing.More

My wife and I stopped on a Tuesday in late September. They don’t take reservations, so we waited for 3-4 minutes while the hostess finished her personal call. She then informed us there would be a 40-50 minute wait. My wife pointed out that half...the tables were open. She then said she only had two waitresses (who could apparently only handle three tables each)! Since they had no waiting area or bar, my wife asked what we were supposed to do for 40-50 minutes? The hostess said most people walk the street and shop. It was after 6 pm and raining....stores were closed. We go to Door County quite a bit....we will never go back here. By the way, we went to Stone Harbor and had a great meal and a nice view!More

I have been coming to this place since it was located in an old train depot down the street in the early 1990s. I just moved back to Sturgeon Bay from Milwaukee, and we came here to celebrate our anniversary. We could not have been...more delighted! One of the things I love about DalSanto's is that they maintain tradition while also continuing to evolve. We had a delicious shrimp appetizer, and a wonderful Caesar Salad. The chicken parmesan was perfect - and was a normal amount of food, not the excessive portion that some folks serve. My partner really enjoyed her salmon. For dessert, we had the most luscious and perfect tiramisu! We could not have loved our meal more. I'm torn between wanting to go back regularly, and wanting to keep it as a special treat - maybe we'll have to try to make it both!More

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wine. The pizza was better than average, but for a combo pizza, it could have had more toppings. The Lobster Ravioli was outstanding. The portions were huge and neither of us finished the entire serving. We enjoyed the leftovers a...few nights later. I recommend making a reservation, because there was a wait every time we tried to walk in. There is no bar at which to sit while waiting for a table so we walked down the street to a tap room and tasted beer until the Dal Santo called to tell us our table was ready.More

Our family ate here and everyone loved the food! Walleye, salmon, spinach and chicken ravioli and the spaghetti/polpetti. Portions were very good sized - no one left hungry. We will definitely be back!
