We come here many weekends and order the blooming onion, salads, and Filet Mignon. The food is great every time, although the seafood tends to hurt our stomachs. It is usually a quick meal if you have the right server.

Met a friend here on a cold, snowy Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by very friendly staff and served quickly. The food here is excellent - it's all good. Prices are high, but as long as you know what to expect... The French onion soup is loaded with goodness and the blooming onion is loaded with calories. But they're both truly delicious. Our waitress was excellent and made sure we had everything we needed - even checking on us regularly while we took our time catching up on each other's news. Good location, excellent service, and good food make for a winning combination here!

Outdoor dining for Birthday. Restaurant was very busy but that was okay since due to Covid we wanted to eat outside. Patience was rewarded with excellent service by Sam. She was very attentive and served us well. Food was good as always.

We have been going to Outbacks for years including different locations when we travel. The Outback in Onalaska WI is a favorite of ours. The food is always good, the servers are prompt and knowledgeable about the menu items. We have seen Jamie, the previous manager and Kelly the current manager step in and help when it is busy. The managers also spend a lot of time in the dining areas and bar making sure their customers are satisfied. We love the Queensland Pasta and the Victoria's Filet which is always cooked exactly how I order it. Salads and vegetables are fresh and delicious. Their baked potatoes are tender (not hard like at other places) and can be ordered with the works. Other favorites are the Center Cut Sirloin, Baked Potato Soup, Alice Spring Chicken, Bloomin' Fried Shrimp and the Outback Burger. The drinks are done right too. Being a reward member has some good perks. The only thing that could be improved on for us would be having the Elmer's Shrimp put back on the menu. We highly recommend this establishment.

Outback always has very good food and service, but tonight was exceptional. Since all the nastiness of Covid virus, this was our first dinner out since February 29, 2020. Tonight was our 49th anniversary and we felt the occasion called for a nice dinner out. Our server was attentive and very nice and we started with wine. The menu has changed a bit since Covid 19 and is now paper with a smaller selection, but actually features most of their popular choices. We order the Victoria Filets, both medium. Our food arrived, hot and looked delicious. The steaks were cooked well done instead of medium but we just went ahead and started to eat. When I mentioned it to the server she apologized and wanted to bring new meals to us. Not necessary we said. A minute later the Manager arrived, said we would receive (2) complete steak dinners to take home and because it was our Anniversary they brought a delicious carrot cake for Desert. This was above and beyond what we expected. Onalaska is lucky to have such a great restaurant with an exceptional staff to serve the public. It is one of our favorite places to go when we want a delicious quality steak.

After doing some grocery curbside pickups we stopped at Outback to get food to take home. The take out staff (Andrew) helped us decide on 2 orders of shrimp and loaded baked potatoes. Andrew offered to bring us some of their delicious bread while we waited. We live almost an hour away and although everything was still warm when we got home we popped it in the oven to heat a little more while we put groceries away. The food was delicious. They gave us plenty of condiments and it was totally enjoyable. Next time we do a grocery run we will go back and get a steak to go and see how that goes. Maybe get it rare as it will continue to cook on the way home and we like medium rare. That will also leave a little room to reheat. Andrew and his manager were a big help with our order. This is an awesome Outback and we would definitly recommend it.

Stopped here for a delicious dinner Saturday. We have had a problem with how the meat was cooked, but this time PERFECT. Our waiter, Joseph, did everything he could to satisfied our every need. They have a new desert which included a "dipping chocolate" with items to dip, great.

Caitlyn ( as a new server) had impeccable timing, food was hot, drinks were good and we had a great time. Definitely going back and hoping we get Caitlyn as our server again. Glad we were her first table.

I travel a lot, got into Onalaska later than planned. Walked into the Outback just before closing as they were cleaning up. Adrian behind the bar couldn’t have been nicer!! Was able to order, have a beer, eat and was told NOT to rush!! Appreciate Adrian for the Great Hospitality!!!

A beautiful hostess (Stephanie Manglitz) went the extra mile to sit our party of 7. Very friendly and accommodating. Calvin, our server, provided excellent service. Everyone enjoyed the food and we had a nice experience! We'll be back!!
