great soul food. filling portions. we had baked chicken, catfish ,greens, black-eyed peas ,corn , spaghetti, fried chicken, and great corn muffins. we will definitely go back there when we are back in Milwaukee again.

They hit the mark

Definitely a good place to experience good ol' soul food. Sometimes it's hard to get it right when you are cooking for the masses...but they get it right! I and others were definitely pleased. Food was good, service was good, and the best is the prices. This spot is a must try if you are looking for a true authentic soul food experience.

Beyond delicious southern soul food

Cafeteria style served home cooking. Friendly service! We tried the Friday catfish and 6 sides. Everything was well seasoned, hot, and fresh. I could not have asked for a better casual meal. Can’t wait to return for the ribs and meatloaf!

Very Small Portions for the price

The taste of the food is good, but the portion size for the price you pay is something to be explain. In addition, the location on Bluemound Rd. seems never open.

We were staying at the Ambassador so searched for good nearby restaurants. Daddy's is worth finding. Great authentic American food, a warm welcome and lemon pound cake to die for. I'm not sure when we will return to Milwaukee but Daddys will be one of our first ports of call

once again, you just can't go wrong eating at Daddy's, food is just great, we have tried many of the items,the ribs oh so tender and sweet, the fried chicken,our friend said it was great,best mac and cheese ever, our friend doesn't like catfish,but said this catfish is really good. and oh, the smothered porkchops, they are so good,baked chicken, falls apart it is so tender. just get some of everything, it will put you in food paradise

Went to Daddy's after attending concert at MSO lSunday 24th

we had expected some very good soul food, and we were not disappointed , at was wonderful, we had not expexted it to be so tastefully decorated ,fresh flowers on the tables,and very clean, staff was very friendly, clientele was colorful and courteous, dont hesitate to visit this remarkable restaurant.

Great Sunday Buffet at this place and lots of interesting people together too! Whenever we are here we can't help but enjoy the people watching as much as the foods! Down home style offerings as mac & cheese black eyed peas fried chicken biscuits and gravy candied yams and so much more! They're known for "setting it out," here and familiar faces attest to that!

Real Soul Food

Just made our second visit to the best soul food restaurant we’ve been to in years. This is the real thing, folks. Take a look at their menu and choose any item and I guarantee you’ll think you’re in the Deep South. Make time to do this. You won’t be sorry.

When you first walk into Daddy's Soul Food Grill you feel like you at grandma house you smell good soul food cooking you can get old school kool- aid and down south sweet tea omg so good, excellent catfish, lunch time on a Friday be so busy so get there early also everyday is soul food its funny to me because every time i go i end up seeing someone that i know so everybody is family in there

This place never disappoints, everything that I've ever had from this place is superb. I recommend you give it a try. The Service and decor aren't slacking either. The vibe is really nice.

Great tasting comfort food and friendly service!

First time eating at Daddy's Soul Food and Grille -- what a treat! The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of seating. Had the baked chicken, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, collard greens, and a cornbread muffin. Everything was very tasty, and I enjoyed every bite! (Sadly, there were NO leftovers.) We arrived for lunch just after 11:30 and didn't have to wait. I noticed it got a much busier as the lunch hour went on, though. They had some great desserts on the menu (peach cobbler, banana pudding, to name a few), but I was stuffed so I didn't get a chance to try any. I will be back soon!

Traditional Soul Food and even a Vegetarian option

The food was served cafeteria style and the portion sizes were nice. Several standard combinations but you could pick and choose any items and pay to add or ala carte. Some options - BBQ chicken and ribs, backed and friend chicken, dressing, mac and cheese, rams, green beans, collard greens, biscuits, corn bread, deserts - pecan pie, peach cobbler and more. Service was very pleasant and quick and the facilities were very clean.
