This restaurant is a must. The food is fantastic and they do go out of their way to ensure it is made the way you need it done. Kim and Elle are excellent servers. Try to get either of them. They do offer outside and...inside seating and the ambiance is very nice. We will definitely go back. Enjoy!More

We were seated right away but had to wait for everything else. There was no bread offered or first course unless you order soup. I ordered soup and had a taste and it was awful 1 bite into it and I pushed it away. 20...minutes of watching other patrons eat there bread and meals and we finally got our food. It was good food, but now worth the amount we paid. We ordered Boston cream pie for desert and we got a piece of cake with frosting and no cream anywhere on the plate. They charged us for the soup I didn’t eat.More

for a top resort and top restaurant in the city - waitstaff not very good. Can eat outside patio. nice bar area. Menu ok. steak fare - not a great cut. onion soup all bread no broth. water glasses not refilled and they forgot to...get when asked too. salad fair. made reservations ahead of time, in person that afternoon. Saw them note it. Came back and they couldn't find it (at least I think they couldn't). Then they took us to an indoor table - when request for outside table (which luckily they were able to seat us at), which is why I think they couldn't find it. This diamond resort. This place needs polishing.More

There is no need to leave the resort to eat at Lola's. The food is very good but it's a limited menu. Nice place for lunch also.

Met some friends there on a Sunday night. Place wasn’t very busy, yet it took 2 hours to get our food. And then it was underdone. Steaks were cool and raw, noodles undercooked. I had heard good things about this place . Bill for wife...and I was -187.88. I will never returnMore

There was nothing to complain about with this restaurant. We ordered the Caesar Salad and the Warm Goat Cheese salad and they were very good. We both asked to have the Seared Tuna and the Cedar Planked Salmon done medium and they were perfectly cooked....We'd like to thank Lizzy (hostess on Oct 19th) for talking with us at the bar about the food choices. She knew we were reading the reviews and talked us through a couple of her favorites. She was spot on! Thank you for the good food and excellent service.More

$40 later, I had the worst ribeye ever. I asked the waitress if the cook could open flame char a medium rare steak. She went to ask and came back and said, she said she could try. I doubled checked that it will be cooked...on an open flame. Yes, she said. Ordered scallops for appetizer. Flavorless. I was served my steak.it looked like leather. No juices on the plate. No juices on top of the steak. No juices came out of the steak. I was brought out a clean butter knife but no steak knife. The steak also, had no flavor. We stay at the Osthoff Resort for conferences. I wish I would have went to McDonalds. Their burgers have flavor and are juicy.More

Was a little nervous taking 2 small children here - but we made sure we went early enough to not be bothersome to other customers. We pretty much had the whole restaurant to ourselves around 5:15! The staff was friendly and accommodated the children nicely....The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting and the decor is updated and clean. We enjoyed our food and wine and service was great! Definitely recommend to others visiting!More

The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, took a step up in exclusivity in 2005 when it added a north wing to the property. The addition space included a 100-seat restaurant, Lola's On The Lake, additional suites and guest rooms, a 10,000-square-foot conference center and...the 20,000-square-foot Aspira Spa. During our recent three day stay at the Osthoff, my wife and I enjoyed two dinners at Lola's, which is located on the first floor with a patio only steps from the lake. What sets the interior apart is the cozy bar and elegant booths for two. Lexie Lou and David attended to our needs and we couldn't have been more pleased with their professional manner. Dinner at Lola's is an enjoyable fine dining experience. We had lobster bisque, Caesar salad, salmon and broccoli, grilled filet mignon with potatoes and broccoli, veal cutlets and prosciutto and flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse.More

The Sunday brunch was wonderful. We sat at a table on the patio looking at the lake. The buffet inside with the fruit, meat and cheeses was pretty to look at and had a nice selection. The french toast with berries and creme fraiche was...delicious.Service was top-notch. I would definitely check out Lola's for an evening dinner.More

We were there during the afternoon for brunch and just had on nice shorts and shirts. I think even khaki shorts and polo would be fine.
