Just go see Madge and her super friendly staff for excellent coffee drinks, frappes, smoothies teas and more. Great locally sourced produce for a variety of luncheon sandwiches, homemade soups, tasty salads, quiche, desserts and other daily specials. Breakfast too, try the poached eggs Benedict...bagel with Aioli sauce, YUM! One note for those in a hurry, the place gets busy at lunch and on Wed afternoon, so if you need a dine and dash, order ahead. One other note: All profits from this business are donated the the local library and hospital 😍More

Timber Lane Coffee serves delicious food and soup, with specials every day. They have coffee and tea, including chai. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. No one is a stranger at this friendly place. The best item is the AMAZING chocolate cake, so rich and...fudgy.More

Organic based simple menu for breakfast and lunch with a wide variety of specialty coffees, teas, and other hot and cold gourmet drinks. Service was excellent! Owners stopped over to chat with our family. A special treat to find kale quiche and other whole food...items made to order! Highly recommend stopping at Timberlane Coffee Shop if passing through Grant County!More

It's a real treat to get a coffee in the land where there are mostly bars around. The place is cozy, and has even cozier private room (was not occupied when I came, so I was advised I can use it). Menu is nice, and...coffee is good. Local artists' works adorn the walls, changed every month ("Artist of the Month") They call themselves TLC, which stands for Timber Lane Coffee. Ironically, the building they are in needs some TLC - would look like a boarded up abandoned property if it wasn't for coffee shop on the first floor. Don't let that slow you down on the way to the coffee shop - in no way it's their fault, but Boscobel's (need to take care of the properties within city limits, especially the ones tenants are interested in occupying).More

I live in Denver Colorado and found Timber Lane Coffee on the internet when a friend's father-in-law passed away that lives in Boscobel. Madge was so accomodating to our wish to support a family at a difficult time and provided delicious quiche, pastries and coffee....I will never forget the small town feeling and top notch customer service I received from Timber Lane. I only wish I could have tasted one of those yummy cinnamon rolls :)More

Had two lunches here with 5 other people. There are some nice big old oak tables that will accommodate a large group (6-8). The food is sandwiches - I had a grilled cheese and chicken soup one day, cookies the other day! The food is...very good and they do have some healthy options. There was a beautiful chocolate cake on display which the staff assured me was baked on the premises - it was delicious! They also have tasty cookies. The prices are very reasonable and you will not be rushed. It's a wonderful place to spend some time and linger over coffee. This is the spot the locals frequent.More

We enjoyed the two lunches that we had in this small restaurant when spending a couple of days in Boscobel. The decor is very eclectic and gives the feeling of being in somebody's home. The coffee is wonderful and the cookies are to die for....We also enjoyed their soup and sandwiches. They serve beer for those who like having alcoholic beverages with their meal. The service was friendly. It's nice to have a change from the burgers and fried foods of many of the other eating establishments in this small and very beautiful town. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.More

A perfect spot to sit and relax with friends. I'm not a coffee drinker but I can swear the chai lattes are the best. There's also great smoothies that my husband always orders. Desserts are made in house or locally. There's always a breakfast and...lunch special each day. Don't be in a hurry...service is a little slow, but it's definitely worth the wait! There are comfy chairs to hangout in and featured artist each month show their artwork.More

I am on a search for the perfect Cappucino during my trout fishing trips into the hills of Southwest Wisconsin. Timber Lane Coffee is near the top of my list. So far I have found two problems at most coffee shops I have visited. 1....Too much milk. 2. Bitter or Wooden flavor. Not sure if this is caused y the type of coffee beans used, the grind, the quantity or something else, but I encounter it from time to time. Timber Hills has neither of these problems. Smooth, rich flavor and not too much milk. In fact, they showed me how little milk they use (I would call it a Macchiato myself) and asked me if I wanted more. I did.More

Timber Lane is a great coffee shop in the middle of a small town! Madge, the owner, is one of the nicest, friendliest people you'll ever meet. The cafe has a wide variety of menu options in terms of both drinks and food. The paninis...and home-baked goods are amazing! I'm a coffee snob and LOVE the coffee here. The baristas are well-trained and even time their espresso shots to make sure they are not overdone/underdone. The drip coffee is strong (I know some people who get half coffee/half water because of this!), which gives you a lot of bang for your buck. TLC is a nice, quiet place to work, meet with friends, or just chill out. Tables can be reserved for small gatherings, too!More
