Low quality from start to finish. Queso was “solid” in texture and lacked flavor. Steak was dry and tasteless on the tacos and the “shaker” cortija cheese was overpowering and lousy. Margarita was ok. On top of that, prices are ridiculous for what you get...and for the quality. I realize that it is a resort, but at least make it edible if you are going to charge nearly $20 for a quesadilla. The only reason that this place gets a 2 instead of a 1 rating is the ambience. So much potential in the location, but you have to be better than Taco Bell and this place isn’t even close.More
Much better options in the village....Portions were small ,tasteless and overpriced.
Same with Margarita's very small for price charged...wouldn't mind paying "resort"
restaurant prices if food was good and portions were bigger
Just avoid. We ate at the restaurant on Monday, March 9 at 8pm. We ordered chicken tacos, a burrito and tortilla soup. None of the items delivered to the table were eatable. This is not difficult food to prepare. The service was equally bad. Our...waiter sat at a table with the other staff and ignored the customers once they got their food, Snowshoe needs to change this one out given it’s prominent location. Don’t go here to eat.More
This place is ok. The service was good. You can get a table here even when Foxfire has a 2hr wait. It is pricey. You do have to pay for chips and salsa which is very weird. They do not sell any items a la...carte nor will they allow any substitutions. The kids meal came with only 1 taco. We asked if we could pay to add a 2nd and were told no. So, we either had to get our son too little food or spend $16 on an adult taco dinner for him. The fajitas were fine, nothing special. The $6 house margaritas were decent and a better option than spending $14/margarita. I don’t know, we enjoyed everything ok but were also quite underwhelmed.More
Ate here for lunch yesterday. Quesadillas (adult and children's) burned and chicken was stringy and hard to find; burrito no flavor and smothered in soupy sauce; enchiladas about 3" long, looked prepackaged and no chicken found in them; beans burned; rice undercooked. No frozen margaritas....Shrimp tacos were good. Guacamole was good. Most of the chips for dipping were broken so hard to enjoy. Extremely disappointing. Would NOT recommend to anyone who likes good Mexican food. Our waitress was having a bad day and apparently was unable to act as if she cared about customers. We did like the colorful Day of the Dead paintings on walls!More
