One of our favorite restaurants in the DC metro area—we’ve been coming since it first opened. We got 2 delicious appetizers—feta saganaki and fried zucchini. Came here for dinner while in town. Seated right way as not busy. Restaurant in a business building but plenty of parking. Service was good. Bread served. Ordered Greek Salad but was all mixed up unlike a typical Greek salad. Lemon soup was only ok....Cheese appetizer was very good. Sea Bass was ok. Seafood special with rice was good. Limited menu for. We wanted something new for our foodie daughter and fiancé to celebrate her birthday. From the moment we walked in, Nostos promised to deliver with its couture decor and upscale vibe. We started off with a tasty Greek wine and ordered a spread of appetizers...for 6 adults. The gorgeous food presentation was equaled by taste and quality, and we especially enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves, which were obviously moments fresh. We all ordered seafood entrees, salads and indulged in dessert. To commemorate the big day, we took pictures before gathering our things to head out. Stunningly, were told to please leave our table so more people could be seated. Appalled at being treated this way (when it was obvious we were getting ready to leave), after our large ticket, and when two other tables in our room held guests who had been there longer than we had. Very disappointed and will probably not return.More

Nostos has kept up its reputation as the premier Greek restaurant serving high quality food administered by the wonderful Pagonis family. You will always be attended to by either Despina, Peter, or one of their wonderful daughters(Angeliki, Nicole, and...). The while fish is expertly prepared...and special apps like shrimp with feta and tomatoes are always perfect. Desserts are all home made and wonderful. It was my last night in the town,I was feeling like Mediterranean food so I googled it and found this restaurant. I made a reservation for one, as I arrived was taken to the dining room. After the server brought the water I start looking...into the Menu which you can find using a QR code because of “Covid”. I kind of knew already what I wanted and so I kept waiting for the server to come and ask me what I wanted to drink and etc... Well that never happened because they were too busy taking care of other tables! I felt so frustrated and invisible. I waited for eighteen minutes and still nothing happenedI di try Eur contact with the people that was working there but they didn’t even noticed me, so I decided to just take my phone and request a Uber. When I was staying outside the manager or I don’t even know who that was came and try to convince me to go back but at that point I was too disappointed with the whole situation to even bother. I took my Uber and went to Capital grille where I had dinner a few two nights before and guess what? They even remember my name! I was so glad I there afterwards! I will never, ever go back to this place. As a single woman I felt discriminated for being alone on a restaurant. Maybe they didn’t thing I was going to spend enough money I am not sure. Well I had to share this unpleasant situation in order to maybe avoid other people getting treated that way again at that place.More

The flaming cheese and the lamb chop were unbelievable!! The seating area outdoors was great. Service was great. Skip the fried zucchini and beet/cheese small plates. COVID-19 touchless menu and touchless payment were great to see!!

Lovely take away food! They are retaining their quality food even during lockdown! Love the free deliveries for self isolating vulnerable people and their discounts for NHS workers! I will be supporting them as long as I can!

We come here regularly, because it's so good--food, service, ambiance--thanks to Peter, his family and staff. We had 2 special apps--Greek sausage and baked feta with sorbet. Complimented each other well. Hope they stay on the menu! We split a whole dorado for our main--delicious....We ended with the unique baklava for dessert. See you again in a few weeks!!More

The three of us had lunch at Nostos. Except for the soup and wine, we shared small dishes. The food and service were excellent. Indeed, we had some of the best Greek dishes we have ever had Moreover, the restaurant is laid out beautifully .There...are, however, two caveats that keep us from rating the restaurant. First, the prices are relatively high (particularly for wine). I suspect this stems from the restaurants;s location in the high rent Tyson's area. Second, the restaurant is exceedingly noisy. This is somewhat surprising . since the tables are spaced well apart.. Despite these caveats, we would recommend Nostos.More

Thiis family owned Greek restaurant pays attention to every detail. The food is top notch with a variety of choices including daily specials. I have eaten at many Greek restaurants and this is one of the best. Service was outstanding and the prices very reasonable...for quality fish and meat selections.More
