lovely location, exorbitant prices , inexperienced staff.... $15 for a glass of ordinary whit wine is too much. $42 for an entree size piece of barramundi is ridiculous. There were 2 of us, and our meals came approx. 5 minutes apart.

Great location, food is very average. Front of house staff are abrupt. They could do with customer service training. At the time of booking. They don't inform you that they have two lunch sittings. Then rudely tell you you must leave. If you want a long lunch and good food, go somewhere else.

Went to the Teahouse as we were thirsty and hungry. Food was average and a bit expensive.

I have had dinner multiple times in the past two years. This is an amazing treat great food great place for watching the sunset. Excellent views of the Indian Ocean best sunsets.

I ordered a muffin and hot chocolate for morning tea. As I had requested the muffin be heated up, I was offered some spread for it also, which I accepted. Not only did it take the host 5 mins to get the butter, it was delivered hard and unspreadable, and I had nearly finished the muffin, so I didn't use the butter. May I suggest you buy the small pre-wrapped margarine blocks, so that they are easily spread and prompt. Such a beautiful venue, yet the service was shocking. I can see why everyone goes over the road to Il Lido. Disappointing.

Right on the Indian Ocean. Great views. Friendly staff. Very ordinary service. Really just a bakery. Table was rickety. Bathrooms needed attention. Could do so much given the location. Other cafes in the area were packed. I think this is a missed opportunity.

The Indiana Teahouse is located in a beautiful building in a beautiful location right on the beach, but that's as good as it gets. We were seated at a table that was extremely rickety and there were crumbs all over the seats. The waitress took our food order but forget to ask about drinks. We had to get someone else's attention to place a drinks order. My meal was almost cold when it arrived and my daughter's hamburger was raw in the middle. I felt that it was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food.

We only came for a coffee and can’t complain. All was ok, but the palace is dirty. In my opinion they should shut it for a week and have it repainted plus have people to clean it with toothbrushes.
The building is beautiful but it is also old. You really need to ensure it is properly maintained so the guests have great experience.

I just love the ambience of the Indiana tea house. Ocean views from just about any table. Welcoming wood fire. Very friendly waitstaff. The two of us shared three small plates: Freemantle octopus, garden salad and crispy bread with humus. All very nicely presented and enjoyable though octopus a bit on the chewy side. Won't order it again, but will always go back to the Indiana.

Came out from Perth on the bus .We had Fish & Chips as you do when having a day at the seaside. Wish we had gone elsewhere, the fish was overcooked and brown instead of golden. What a pity in such a lovely setting

We enjoyed a flavoursome lunch and plenty of it, the pizzas were particularly nice.
We had a table near the window and had a great view of the ocean nad boats in the distance. We were there on a quiet week day and it was really nice and peaceful allowing us to enjoy our companions company while relaxing.

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch with the beach at touching distance, great entree platter of cheese and prosciutto, and chips and aioli followed by a white cocolate and raspberry mouse with meringue... soooo nice. Attentive staff and lovely tea house Art Deco building

After showing friends around perth and the southwest for a week and eating out for every lunch and dinner, this was undoubtedly the worst food and service we had received....and to add insult to injury, it was also the most we had paid for any meal. Our waitress was dismal. The only thing going for Indiana's is the view which you can also get on a picnic rug out the front so definitely not worth the dissapointment.

Located in the iconic Cottesloe beach landmark right on the beach we enjoyed a delicious lunch with a great view. Can’t fault the burgers and they have a great range of alcoholic drinks on tap.

The interior was in very poor decorative order, giving it a “Rundown” appearance.
Despite this, the service was good and the fish and chips we had were perfectly acceptable, if slightly overpriced. Nevertheless, this restaurant is all about the view in this iconic building. Make sure you get a table with a view.
