I can’t see how anyone can give this place more than one star. Upon arrival you are greeted with overflowing dumpsters at the entrance which is via a dirty dark lane way. We ordered the most expensive option, the banquet. 3 of the dishes were...inedible, the chicken was coated in something bitter and horrible, the arancini balls were the worst I’ve ever had. I’m from Cyprus the inventors of halloumi and what they did to this dish was sacrilegious. The churros was stale. After all the hype, this would have to be the worst culinary experience. The premises are disgustingly dirty.More

My wife and i celebrated our wedding anniversary last evening (16/12/20) Started with A drink (Sangria) large and very nice. We had starters (Bread with olive oil), main meal (Home made pulled pork empanadas) (Pork and veal meatballs) and finished off with desert (Affogato) All...the dishes were flavorsome but the empanadas could have been larger or perhaps 4 instead of 3 especially for the price. our seating was good for 2 people in the corner overlooking the main street. The restaurant was a full house but not a lot of people as the room upstairs was limited to maybe 50-60 patrons. However the atmosphere was not enjoyable,The noise of people talking very very loudly was just unbearable, we could only talk to our selves by leaning over the table for two in the corner. The server had to lean down to talk to us to take our order. We stayed for two hours, we would have stayed longer and had more Sangria had we been comfortable. When we left through the rear entrance it was heaven not to be overwhelmed by NOISE. We would go again if it was not for the noisy atmosphere.More

Thought we would try as we really love Spanish food. After spending $45 a head we left nobody feeling satisfied. The portions are very small, the ravioli was dry, the paella was not paella it was rice with tomato paste. I can cook better. The...meatballs again dry and tasteless the sauce it was in not so bad. The Portuguese tart was terrible and basically inedible and the churros left a horrible taste the caramel sauce was runny and tasteless. Got robbed once won’t go there again. Would not recommend better to eat at home.More

I had forgotten about this little gem but after a friend posted pics decided to venture out and give it a whirl after the covid lock down. Decided to stick to the specials board. I could have eaten the fried Brussel sprouts on my own...with parmeson, honey and almonds they were that good. Zucchini flowers light and the mushrooms with chilli and garlic amazing although a small piece of sourdough to grab those juices would have been great. The churos for dessert so light they melted in my mouth. The one let down, the service after you got your one drink and food was almost non existent. My partner had to go hunting a wine menu and then had hit the front counter to order a wine. Guys just a suggestion, the food is amazing but wine during the meal would be great and slow down the food a touch. We were also not really expecting four dishes in one hit. We felt like we were being rushed out.More

Worst experience at this restaurant. Have been before many times and had enjoyed it. To start the table water was cloudy The wine we were served was off, you could smell it when it hit the table The mojito we ordered wasn’t made correctly and...was unenjoyable We ordered green beans which were dosed in oil, overcooked but still cold and the cheese on top was well off The potato braves were cold and tasteless The halloumi was cooked differently this time and was rock hard it was a struggle to cut through And our Mezze plate was just put together with no care. On top of that when we approached the waiter he told us we were wrong, everything is fresh as it was delivered 2 weeks ago then tried to charge us even though we had barley touched it When we said we were unhappy to pay for all of it he said how dare we take a table and cost him money and then told us to leave Never have I ever had such a poor experience Will never go backMore

It was the worst experience I had going to this restaurant. First of all, the place was so unattractive and needs a good clean up or renovation. The food quality was below standard and worse than cafeteria meals. The food looked precooked and reheated when...served. Totally unappetising and some burnt like the Paella which must have been sitting under a salamander. All the meals were overpriced and zero value for money for what you are served. So beware not to be fooled. Over $ 140 wasted. Never again.More

Had dinner with my wife and had mixed reviews. We got the banquet and the menu looks enticing. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to rave about. It was a nice change for Penrith. I would give the food 3 stars but the...service unfortunately was a 1. Not once did the waitresses ask us for a drink other than when we arrived or if everything was ok. I went to them and asked if I could have another drink but it never arrived. When the food was served there was never an explanation to what each dish was. As there were several dishes, being tapas, it seemed strange. The funniest part was when a waitress asked if we were finished with a dish as I was serving myself the food she was offering to take away. There is a bar down stairs open till midnight but no music therefore no atmosphere. Won’t rush backMore

Went with a group of colleagues for Friday lunch. We were served by the very friendly Marcus. We ordered from the banquet menus which they were very flexible around. The food was so full of flavours, fresh and delicious! We didn’t have to wait long...and the servings were generous. Everyone was happy. We’ll definitely return. This place is a hidden gem!More

Used to be my favourite place in penrith until one day we got served a terribly off paella. We got a refund and all but somehow this left such a bad impression for my wife that she doesnt want to go there again. She lost...the trust. That dish should not have left the kitchen. The place and food are great, some plates are exceptional. But it lacks that professionalism, that attention to detail that other places have.More

Great for groups but not for separate bills - unreasonable to expect 20 different bills. Better to agree upfront with fellow diners that food cost is shared equally and agree with restaurant that alcohol will need to be... More
