Great, fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. A family run business since 1976. Enjoyed crab imperial and the Norfolk combination of butter broiled crab, shrimp scallops and lobster. AND, the Tuesday night special included 1/2# of steamed shrimp with 2 entrees! Always yummy.

I had the crab legs and they were good. We had a nice server too, though I wish the servers had masks. The key lime pie was pretty darn bad, sad as it was my birthday treat, but wasn't worth eating. What a great seafood lunch! It was a beautiful day and my husband and I decided we wanted to enjoy seafood at a restaurant where we could be seated on their patio. We made the right choice. I want to start by saying that our...server, ADRIANA, was absolutely outstanding . She was so friendly and helpful ~ she made us feel as if we were best of friends during our entire meal. My husband said his oysters were delicious as was his vegetable crab soup.. I had the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms which were perfectly prepared. Prices were very reasonable. First time here. Overall very good but they have a couple things to work on. Plenty of parking and employees were friendly. Food was very good and you get plenty to eat. There were not busy when got there and service started off great however...the server got inattentive and was not coming back for drink refills or other things. I had to find another server to get some napkins and a couple other things. I hadnt seem her in a while and got up to go to the restroom. When i got back, i heard her and another employee comment about me coming back. I asked about what was going on and they said they thought I might have left as they had problems with some customers leaving during their meal. I was a little taken back by that comment and was like no i went to the bathroom. She said oh you are ok, we have installed cameras. I didnt really feel to welcome by someone assuming that I had left. I had ate my appetizer and hadnt gotten meal at that point. I would like to come back again but they need to do better job of being more attentive and not assuming that someone left when they go to the bathroom.More

Blue ridge seafood has the most elegant but good priced food and the best service I have ever experienced.

After reading the reviews and being the number one restaurant in Gainesville I was expecting an wonderful experience. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder and the Alaskan Snow Crab let’s. My wife had a combination broiled player. The soup was okay, but luke warm....The crab legs tasted like they were cooked several time. The string beans were over cooked. My wife’s was not good at all. The food was only warm. The scallops were undercooked. The fish had no taste and the shrimp were over cooked On Tuesday we were to get an appetizer of spicy shrimp and we had to ask for it 3times. It came after our dinner. Such a shameMore

I’m not making this up. I’ve had seafood all over the world since I was a child, in fancy restaurants with finger bowls in huge cities, exotic villages on cliffs overlooking the sea, shacks in the Florida Keys, and on Mediterranean islands where the you...watch your meal come straight from the sea, and this place is BY FAR my favorite. It is not a place that you would dress up to visit, but it has the best food I’ve ever had, and it’s repeatedly good. I have never had a bad meal here, and I’ve been there A LOT. When we’re in VA and our parents come to visit, this is the restaurant they request as well. We don’t even bother to suggest any other restaurant at this point! It’s even better than my mother-in-law’s cooking which is unbelievable. (Her father was a professional chef!) I wish I lived closer so that I could enjoy eating here more often. They are trying social distancing and we were 6 feet away or so from other occupied tables. However, we were directly adjacent to a cashier who was not wearing her mask properly. I will say each table had butcher paper on it for each use.

Soft shell crabs snd hush puppies and especially server Zach were most excellent. The bourbon and ginger beer drink is also very good.

Good food, good service, good location, good price, would return again, excellent staff, very close to everything

Found this gem while visiting the area. Family owned business operated for generations.The parking lot was packed. delighted to hear only a 15 min. wait. Due to Covid they do a great deal of take out meals too. service was excellent ! Inside and outside...seating. Great selection of seafood. Great price and you get big portons! Definitely will be back!More

We ordered a pound of crab legs which were some of the best we have had. Also had fried catfish and scallops which were good. Hushpuppies were excellent. Waiter came to vehicle as soon as we pulled into the curbside spot...great service in these challenging...times.More
