I'll start off with the good, which is their amazing wine selection. I was able to try a few wines that I haven't had the chance to try and the atmosphere in the dining area is great. Staff are attentive and have great timing on...checking in and getting your drinks and food to the table fast. Now, the food itself is somewhat disappointing. Our table ordered the gnocchi, duck ragu dish and sweet potato croquetas. Of those, the best would have to be the duck ragu- I'm willing to go back for this and the wine selection. The croquetas need some working on, either that or we had a severely undercooked portion. The best descriptor I have for them is uncooked batter, or in the most unflattering of baby food texture. Nothing about them was exactly appetising, especially not the sauce they were sent with which vaguely tasted of an unseasoned bechamel.More

Food was excellent though it was very slow coming out of the kitchen. It is a very small restaurant and the music was blasting. And it was hot! Won’t be back.

The food was delicious and the service was prompted and friendly. I have only two criticisms. The large plates were overpriced. The monk fish large plate that I had needed a starch. It would been outstanding with angel hair pasta or a purée of either...potatoes or sweet potato.More

Our server, Mackenzie, went above and beyond to make our first, post-wedding, meal one to remember. We were greeted with two glasses of sparkling wine and Mackenzie was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and made certain we had the perfect pairing for our meals....The food and wine were wonderful and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend when you’re in Stowe!More

We were on the small patio. The menu was limited but had wonderful options. The food was excellent and the overall ambience was more than we expected. Thanks also to our server, Mackenzie, who helped make our evening extra special.

Very expensive for very little food. I took the pasta for main dish but the portion was a very small apetizer. I do not have a big appetite and it’s the first time I get out of a restaurant still hungry. On a more positive...note, it was very good and flavorfull, also a good ambiance.More

Cork is a sweet little restaurant with a tasty and sophisticated menu. Our server was Jane and she was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. we had cocktails, mushroom risotto, big salad, and an arugula salad. each dish was thoughtful and well presented. The coffee came out...steaming hot, the apple cake was delicious. Try it!More

Every town should have a restaurant like this. It’s cozy and yet airy and light;, unpretentious but the food is thoughtful and delicious. It has friendly service and great wine to boot. Oh, and the prices are all incredibly accessible for what feels like a...high end/big night out. We make a point to go every year when we visit Stowe, and it is always a delight. Be sure to try the white bean dip and the friend chickpeas, however they’re being served that night.More

Yes, it was a busy fall weekend and we saw many open seats at the bar. Since it was jus the two of us, we thought it would be easier to eat at the bar rather than take a (very busy) table. The waitstaff made...the comment to us that we "snuck" in to the bar. . . I believe we walked right up to the bar, but hmmmm. Bar tender - who are usually ultra outgoing folks - was not. Ended up feeling unwelcome, so we had a quick drink and appetizer -- and left. Not feeling the love.More

Definite unique restaurant serving specialty foods primarily sourced locally. I wasnt quite sure about this place, but my wife said you gotta try different things when you get the chance and I certainly wasnt disappointed. However, it is on the high $ end for eating

Reservations highly recommended. This was more upscale, and the restaurant had a relaxed ambiance to it. Very wide selection of farm to fresh appetizers and entrees. The salmon salad was delicious! It was a very enjoyable experience!

I’d say come to Cork with an open mind and open palate. We came with our teens for dinner, lived into the small farm to table menu, and came away thrilled. As someone who has worked at a vineyard and added sulfites to barrels, I...can tell you that natural wines are not the same as supermarket Chardonnay. Be open minded about that and you’ll be very pleased. Real character comes leaping through when you leave out the preservatives. The dinner and vibe were great, the wine was great, the service was great, and our teens, who are developing their own sophisticated palate, loved it, and that is high praise for sure.More

We showed up without a reservation on a busy night and they were able to accommodate us. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the wine list and the menu. We tried some wine we never had before and were happily surprised at how...good it was. (she allowed us a sample before we committed to full glasses). The menu was so different, which we love, and the food was fantastic. We loved the decor and the atmosphere and noted that if we lived in Stowe, this would be our "hang out."More
