Late Night Pizza

Mr. Mikes is the students' choice for a late night slice. It sure tastes good at 2:00 am and that's what matters when you're 21.

Good for a slice on way home

Pizza by the slice pretty good. Lots of choices. A noisy environment, better to grab a slice to go. Service up and down (sometimes hard to get noticed), and not all that comfortable to sit down and eat (though that can work at lunch). Glad it's there after a night of watching live music and drinking nearby to get a little food in me beforee heading home. But not a destination otherwise.

Great College Food, Noisy Environment

This is my college-aged son's favorite place for quick, inexpensive pizza that's as big as your face, and it is definitely good for that. The chicken-bacon-barbecue is especially yummy! But if you want to eat inside the restaurant, be prepared for the extremely loud music with thumping bass that renders conversation next to impossible unless you shout at each other. I'm sure a younger clientele would be less disturbed by this than I was.

Good pizza but hit or miss

Good pizza but hit or miss on service and big miss on cleanliness/proper food handling. I’ve been going here once every couple of months for a few years. I keep hoping they will change something but have given up. They have good pizza slices but some of the employees are rude. Last time I went, 3 employees were talking out back and saw me come in but kept talking and joking for a few minutes. When the cashier finally came out, she was abrupt and borderline rude to me for no reason - some of these employees can’t treat customers with respect and expect tips anyway. Also if you order slices, the cashier will use their dirty bare hands to carry your pizza to the oven after handling cash. Last time I was there I paid cash - she took my payment then used her bare hands to literally throw my slices in the oven, then picked up a broom and swept the floor, then got my pizza out of the oven with the same dirty hands. Pretty disgusting and definitely a violation of food safety rules. Plenty of other options in the area - I’m personally not going back here again.

Skunked four-month hold Heady Topper -- Yuck

Happened to be walking buy, and since most places are takeout due to Covid, I decided to grab one can of Heady Topper and one Focal Banger. I knew as soon as I got home that I'd made a mistake. After my first sip, I had to check to make sure I was drinking from the right can! It was gross, and tasted nothing like Heady, which I drink fairly often. I checked the date on the bottom of the can: March. This was nearly mid-July. I ended up dumping both cans, as they were undrinkable. With what they charge for a single can, I would have hoped someone would pay more attention to quality control.

Awesome Pizza!

Every Saturday afternoon before heading back to boarding school in Williston a group of friends would come here and meet for a couple slices of pizza and a soda and 33 years later I came back and had a couple slices of pizza and a soda for lunch! The pizza is delicious and awesome! I love big slices of pizza.

Amazing Pizza and Laid Back Atmosphere

Stopped for a pizza not knowing anything about this place. It has a laid back vibe with multiple TVS, music, reasonable prices. Pool table in the back. Waiter recommended a great local beer and we got a 14” cheese pizza that was savory with a yummy garlic taste. Love the dough and tomato sauce. We are from out of state but would definitely go back!

Great Pizza!

Mr. Mike’s was a stop when my friends would come to Burlington on Saturday afternoons when I was going to boarding school in Williston. the pizza was good back then and it’s still the same pizza that I remember back in the late 80s and early 90s. Perfect place to bring your family or a date or solo visit. They also have beer.

Location was close to shopping but a bit quieter the pizza slices are amazing! I highly recommend the pesto. The service was great, very friendly!

It's not five star but for a pizza place it serves it's purpose. Best part is the beer selection. They have a nice draft selection and a beer that is very hard to find called Focal Banger.

Kind of scary, excellent pizza, good value

The best buffalo chicken pizza slices ever. It can be a rough crowd in there at night, but certainly not "unsafe" in any way. Large portions of everything, well-priced. Pleasant counter service. Good variety of options on the menu.

Where Else to Go Saturday at 2am?

It was a great wedding reception and walking to Mr. Mike's at 2am for a couple of slices brought back many memories. Only difference was we weren't staggering in from Nectar's for a change. Been eating here since the late 80's early 90's and it is still a great slice worth waiting for.

Huge Slice

Went after the 4th of July fireworks with a cooworker. Ordered two slices, but they were huge and could only eat one and a half. We were guided to get the buffalo pizza which was very good, but had no toppings...oh, and only $3.50 per slice!
