Rovali's Ristorante Italiano is located on Historic 25th Street in Ogden Utah. Our building is over 106 years old and has a very authentic atmosphere with our old brick walls and wooden floors. Our decor is old school Italian and we have a patio for outside dining and special events! Rovali's Ristorante is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. We strive for the very best and authentic Italian food. We also strive for the perfect Italian eating experience; from the ambiance to our service.Rovali's is unique in many ways. We have a full service Espresso bar and we have a wide variety of cocktails, beer and drinks to choose from. We also make our desserts from scratch. Andrea is our baker and one of the owners. She brings an incredible talent for your palette. Chef Ro has more than 2 years of experience in cooking fine Italian Cuisine. Family Owned Magnificent Food

This family owned place takes service and delicious variety to a whole new level! Great variety on the menu of appetizers, main dishes, pizzas and desserts. We have eaten Italian food all over the world so we are very picky and this place is near or at the top of our favorites. We had the eggplant parmigiana which had just the right amount of coating with the right thickness of eggplant and combined with the cheese and sauce was spectacular. Do not leave without a cannoli which are crispy with a unique smooth flavor. This will be a must-do every time we are in the Salt Lake area. A huge plus is that is right on the historic 25th Street in Ogden. Hopefully covid shut downs will soon be a bad memory but these folks had a great system for delivering the food outside to marked parking spots. One last comment - the family and employees were all fun, friendly, and warm!

Very cheesy 🧀

My wife wanted Italian food so we stopped by here on our way home from Logan. It's in nice historic downtown Ogden. There was a little bit of a wait, but they have benches on the back patio to wait on. This is the first restaurant that the employees are not wearing face masks and I love it. We ordered some Italian creme sodas and they were both delicious. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread and it literally came out in a minute. It took longer for our food to be cooked but it was well worth the wait. My lasagna was very ceesy and delicious. My wife's BBQ chicken pizza was just the right size at 8 inches and was so flavorful. We will definatley stop by here again when we are in Ogden or passing through.

Great Italian Food with friendly atmosphere on historic 25th Street.

Another good suggestion from Trip Advisor led us to this place close to our hotel and on historic 25th street. Alex the owner was the host and seated us. He was very welcoming and shared some tips on menu items and a joke. Alexandria was our server and was nice and attentive. The wait time was short and service swift. We both had the Eggplant Parmesan with veggies. It was delicious. We topped off the meal with Amaretto Tiramisu. The deserts are homemade by the owners daughter with a wide selection not to be missed. We would highly recommend this place.

First Time....Fair Fare

My wife and I visited the day after Valentine's Day and after cross country skiing, so we were hungry. We both ordered the eggplant parmesan. Our waitress, Andrea, was quite attentive without being annoying. So the service was quite good but our food was only fair. The eggplant gave us the impression that it was prepared waaaaaay before we got there and didn't leave us with the feeling of being freshly prepared. It was warm when presented to us, not hot. This was our very first time there and we will give them the benefit of the doubt and one more try.

Disappointing Meal

I was looking forward to dinner at this restaurant based on the reviews. Maybe it was just an off night but we were underwhelmed by the food. It is expected that all eateries are swamped now that people are starting to get out more so we didn’t mind the 5 minute wait to be seated and the very long wait for service and receipt of the food. My husband had the lasagne and I had the “Tour” sampler. The lasagne cheese wS very chewy. The cheese ravioli was okay, but the fettuccine Alfredo was tasteless. Salads were okay except I’ve never seen a Caesar salad with tomatoes and an oil and vinaigrette dressing. I’d not recommend this restaurant. Go down the street to Rooster’s which was much better.

Food was “OK”, service? Not so much

The menu here is old school Italian American “Red Sauce” fare. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with meat sauce. Was it good? It was. The service? Less than stellar. Would I go back? Probably not.

Small place and you should have a reservation. You can call an hour before you go to get one or you might have to wait to get in. Great food, I think about this place every time I get hungry. It was excellent. The desserts look so good but was too full to try any.

2 Stars because the desserts were great. Service was terrible. We were seated and then ignored for at least 10 minutes. A few employees wandered around. one even looked at our table as she walked past to go and stand at the food pick up area and just stood there. They give off the vibe of not liking their job and they’d rather be anywhere else. Finally a waitress who was waiting on the table next to us came to ask if we’d been helped yet. She went in search of our server who came over right away. A very nice young man who quickly got our desserts and waters and was very apologetic. He was such a nice guy that I hope he finds a better place to work. Never going there again.

Good service and food

We stopped in while visiting the street car show. I am not a big pasta fan but my wife wanted to try them out. This place is quit large with a nice mixture of booths and tables. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table which was no problem. We both had water and a glass of their featured wine of the night. So my wife ordered the chicken Marsala and I did the shrimp Caesar salad. Dinner rolls are also served. Our server was very good and attentive. My salad was as expected and the shrimp were cooked very nicely. My wife was very happy with her chicken. And the pasta that it came with. I wish they had a better variety of non pasta dishes for people like me. It was a good experience and prices are fair.

Date night at Ravoli’s

My wife and I had the Tour of Ravoli. The lasagna was very good, the Alfredo was average as was the cheese ravioli. The butter pecan piecake was very good. Service was average as were the drinks from the bar. Nice place but pretty average for Italian restaurants.

Amazing!

There is a bit of a wait, so plan accordingly if you have a bigger group or smaller kids. There is a reason why there is a wait and that is because it is worth it!! The owner works with his staff and is very welcoming. The staff are pleasant and create an enjoyable atmosphere. If that isn’t good enough than the food is worth it! I will be comparing any Italian restaurant to the quality of their food.

Horrible Customer Management

Came here on a busy Friday nite without a reservation and waited an hour to seated. Wait staff very busy during that time. Checked with hostess several times to ensure we were still on the list. As two tables opened up we patiently waited. Then they seated a couple before us without a reservation who just came in off the street. When we complained all we got was a bunch of attitude. Go someplace else, there are plenty of other good options where you will be treated well.

Great service and a fresh selection of menu options. The angel hair pasta and lasagna were both excellent. Beer served with a frozen glass for an extra chill and wine list was decent. Prices quite reasonable, especially given portion sizes. Bread is extraordinary.

We loved our meal here. From the welcoming, personable owner to the attentive staff to the delicious food. No complaints! Food was priced right and tasted amazing. Dessert (the cheesecake!) was so creamy and good. I will be back!

Good Italian Food and Atmosphere in Ogden's Historic District.

Having toured Union Stations Museums we were ready for a late lunch. Based on the reviews we gave it a shot and were not disappointed. We enjoyed good Caesar Salads, Great Garlic Bread. My wife had a great Pesto Pasta while I enjoyed the Lasagna. The cheesecake topped off the meal. Thanks for a great lunch
