Great ice cream parlor!

Great selection of ice cream flavors, beautiful place to sit. Also great milkshakes, known as the best ice cream in Ogden. They need to add soft serve ice creams to their menu 🍦🍦🍦

Would give 5 stars but the line it toooo long.

Be prepared to wait up to a half hour to get in the door. This is a popular place. I always enjoy their root beer ice cream. Way to many flavors make it hard to choose. Also, unlike Aggie Ice Cream in Logan, these guys won't split one scoop into two flavors.

Amazing Ice Cream

my family and past generations have gone here for a sweet treat for over 40 years. Their ice cream is amazing, and the environment is so welcoming and sweet. Coming here always puts a smile on our faces, and they never disappoint. They have many different flavors to choose from, and something for everyone. We LOVE Farr Better Ice Cream!

Especially in light of the current coronavirus pandemic, I would like to offer an overdue warning of my experience. Just before dishing up ice cream, an employee sneezed directly into his gloved hands and went right back to work serving food. I challenged this, and got the lie that he sneezed into his elbow or some such lame excuse. As I think back now, it's hard to tell how many utensils and food items he handled before changing gloves or washing, and how many other employees then handled the now dirty utensils he used, before in turn spreading it to even more utensils and customer's food. The first employee's germs likely were spread and consumed by many, many customers. If you want to buy prepacked food here, go for it. But I would definitely avoid eating or touching ice cream, cones, or anything else that an employee could have handled directly. With seeing such a glaring infraction, I've got to wonder what else is going on that customers cannot see. You simply don't know where those hands have been, gloved or not, before serving you. So it's wiser to skip it altogether.

Best ice cream ever

Ok, so call me crazy but this place has the best ice cream in the world. I am sure that others will argue with me but they are the best. I grew up eating ice cream from Farr and it is always so good. They have so many flavors that it is hard to choose a flavor. You can get it in a cup or in a cone. You can get 1, 2, 3 or more scopes. What could be better. This place has been around for over a century. You can only get locally, in Utah and at some stores in Idaho and Wyoming. So don’t go looking for it. But, if you are in Utah stop in and try some from the original But done blame me if you get hooked. Old fashion ice cream counter, walk up order your favorite, pay and get your ice cream.

Stopped here after my moms class reunion. She loved it now just as much as when she was a kid. They are very busy but service is quick. the ice cream I had was WONDERFUL. The hardest part was deciding which flavor to get. They do also offer banana splict, shakes & lime rickys.

Do not get chocolate and peanut butter ice cream unless you want a jar of peanut butter.

I ordered a chocolate and peanut butter ice cream and got a peanut butter jar in waffle cone instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ice Cream Heaven

FARR's is an institution in Ogden. I grew up there, but since getting g married 50 years ago have lived in Spokane, WA. Even as a small girl, we got to go have ice cream there. The indoor decor is exactly like it was growing up. Every time I go home( July 2020) I always have to have icecream. My very most two favorite flavors are Black Licorace/ Almond Divinty. If it is fall time, then it is Pumpkin / Black Licorace . I just wished I could get it in Spokane, then I would really be in heaven.

So creamy, soft, absolutely delicious! The vanilla and fudge is soooo good. Strawberry cheesecake is good but not my favorite. Beautiful seating areas too!
