I've been to Argentina many times and the food there simply can't be beat. Here in the States it's often difficult to find anything that really compares to the real thing. This restaurant does a pretty good job. All the food is freshly prepared and is quite authentic. The menu, however, is somewhat limited. I wish, for example, that it included bife de chorizo and it does not. They also have a great selection of yerba mate, if you are looking to buy some. One thing that annoyed me somewhat was this. Although I look like a gringo, I am a native Spanish speaker. When I arrived, I noticed that the hostess was speaking Spanish with the people who were waiting ahead of us, but when I spoke Spanish to her, she kept insisting on responding to me in English. When a person speaks your language, the right thing to do is to respond to them in the language they are addressing you in. The place is not much on ambiance, but the food was very good and I would go back.

Ordered the House Milinesa with fries. Traditional style similar to a german schnitzel, with egg on top. Grab a Sprite and tip, dropping $20. Tasty, worth a trip.

Love this restaurant. Family owned and operated since at least 2006 when I first went there; this “hole in the wall” as some may call it is so much more. It’s a diamond in the rough. Every menu item is authentic and true to family dishes you’d actually eat if an Argentine invited you to dinner.
From the chef to the server, you meet the whole family and feel as though you are literally at their home in their dining room.
If I could give them 10 stars on here I would.
Try the empanadas, milanesas, try it all and experience Argentina!

Terrible pizza. Ordered ahead online, it was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes, we hit traffic, so arrived 15 minutes late. However, the lone worker didn't start preparing until we arrived. So had to wait another 20 minutes. He pulled it from a freezer. Tasteless pizza ... very cheap ingredients. Ratings on TripAdvisor obviously false. Web page is misleading. Awards must be false as well.

First time here tried several types of empanadas and they were all really delicious! Will come back and try some of the main dishes. The empanadas were very well priced.

Reasonable price and taste
If you come by the restaurant, you should ask what food is recommended for.
Every thing is good, but sadly a little

I had the pleasure of dining here, last week, with a friend. She'd spent some time in Argentina and highly recommended that we have dinner here. It did not disappoint. I ordered the Carlito (a ham and mozzarella sandwich, toasted on their fabulous, baked bread roll) with potato salad and a Chicken Empanada. Everything was delicious. If you also opt for the potato salad, the seasoning is very different from traditional, American potato salad. I would recommend trying it. I'm told that the unique flavor is due to the way the mayonnaise is made (on site, by hand).
My friend ordered the Neapolitan Milanesa - what she described as Argentina's answer to chicken-fried steak. I had a bite and absolutely loved it! She also ordered the Humita Empanada, which I had never had before and tasted. I will certainly order this on my next visit. The only hesitation for not giving my review five stars was the lack-luster service. We were left with no sign of our waitress and an empty pitcher of water for about 30 minutes. Finally, we went to the register to see what happened and request take-away boxes. I could understand if the restaurant was full, but we were one of three tables occupied, at the time. Otherwise, I look forward to paying them another visit very soon.

I stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the Milanesa sandwich with Russian Potato Salad. Both were unique and fantastic—the bread on the sandwich was excellent, light and crunchy. The service was great and the inside decor made up for the questionable outside appearance of the place, which is a small strip mall.

Love to try new places? This is a good one. Portions were generous. Dish I ordered was supposed to be topped with fried eggs. As soon as I pointed out that they were missing, the brought them to me. Husband and I liked everything on his plate, except the short ribs, too fatty, sausage, flank steak and chicken (dark meat) were excellent! Spices were different that what we normally have BUT that's why we stopped in, for different. Not spicy hot but spicy delicious. Simple surroundings, but comfortable and clean. Also attached to the restaurant is a small grocery shop full of Argentine products. We have been driving by this place for some time saying "you know on the nights when we sit for 30 minutes trying to decide to eat out, one of us should remember this place and try it!" Last night I remembered! We will be back again and try their outside patio when its warmer and try one of the many empanadas on the menue. The also have sandwiches and pizza but these items are not what I come to an Argentine restaurant for.

Went there with a friend(and one time food critic) to experience Argentine food. My friend was familiar with the food from being in Argentina and from being there before.. Iknow if you mention Juan Fangio the owner perks right up. I have no idea the names of what I was eating, but it was damn good. During Argentinian soccer season the place gets crazy with Argentinians and wannabes. The food is reasonable, the atmosphere cafe- like(except during soccer season) and don't get scared of its outside look or weird location. Argentinian food is heavily influenced by various European styles as Argentina has been heavily populated by Europeans. It is not TEX MEX..

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty busy. The sandwiches are generous and the empanadas are yummy...my favorite empanada is the Roquefort and walnut. The ground beef ones are also very tasty. I hope to return at another time to try other items on the menu! Definitely a gem of a place!

The Empanadas were delicious and flavorful. They were very reasonably priced and good sized. They also have a lot of varieties.

I grew up on Argentine food and this restaurant brought back memories. The place is not much to look at, but the food was well worth it. The 'Milanesa Napolitana' was excellent and covered the entire plate. I would suggest they offer a plain milanesa also. I cannot wait to go try their 'Parrillada' ; a variety of grilled meats Argentine style.
