Great Food and Service

Seven of us (family gathering) dined at Christina's and were very impressed. All of the food was delicious (tacos, tamales, burrito) and the drinks (variety of margitas) were excellent. The service provided by Jesus was first rate, he was attentive without hovering, answered all of our questions, and was very personable and professional. While not the cheapest Mexican food I've had, it was a very good value for the cost. Give the blackberry/mint margarita a try.

We picked out this restaurant from a search of trip advisor. We didn't have high expectations but we were pleasantly surprised.it is a good sized restaurant with a pleasant decor. The service was attentive even though it was fairly crowded at 6:30pm. Chips with a fresh-tasting salsa were offered immediately and were very tasty. We ordered a margarita and a beer which were served quickly as well, but the real surprise was hou fast the food arrived.it made us worry we just got some thawed out mexi-fast food but we were happy to taste a fresh and tasty meal. While not spectacular it was very solid. Prices were reasonable and service was very good. The menu choices were somewhat limited but we each found something to satisfy us.

A road trip during COVID-19!

This was our second time eating out during COVID...Friends recommended Cristina's and Mexican food sounded great. All the staff wore masks and the tables were proper distance from each other. The booths were separated by Plexiglass and everything was very clean. We were there for lunch and the service was excellant as well as the food. Very nice servings and just great! We will return.

Very nice…

One of the most recognizable dishes at a Tex-Mex restaurant is enchiladas. I have, over the last year, visited dozens of Tex-Mex restaurants, ordering specifically this dish. I am happy to say that nobody comes even close to how Christina‘s restaurant chain is preparing this dish. Their plates are super hot, the viscosity of the beans is perfect, the temperature of the cheese inside the enchilada is right on, and so is the temperature and the quality of the rice and the chili con carne sauce. To top it all off, Christina‘s has the very best spicy hot sauce to accompany the meal of any major restaurant chain around. I like to eat hot, and I know the difference between a medium level hot sauce and a high-level hot sauce. Cristina’s is on top of the heap. This sauce alone is a very good reason to visit the restaurant.

Very good MX spot

My wife and I go here often for lunch, she loves the tortilla soup, I usually get the fajitas. Waiters are all real nice and we fell very relaxed here. Good quality well run spot.

"Great food, great service!"

Great food and great service! We were in the mood for tex-mex and this hit the spot! The queso was so creamy and cheesy. We ordered several meals and couldn't get enough. We never ran out of water and were greeted when we arrived. We will be going back!

not vegetarian friendly

unfortunately almost nothing was vegetarian, even the chips are fried in the same fryer as meat, they seemed unwilling or unknowledgeable about coming up with anything we could eat. They told us almost everything has lard, meat or chicken broth, including beans and rice.

Great food and service once

Great food and service once seated but hostess needs to figure out how to host. Waited 20 minutes while group after group were seated before us. Singer was loud and horrible. Great food and service was good. Come for the food if you can get a table

Great specialties and drinks, and service

Among many Mexican restaurant choices, our family likes Cristina’s style the best in McKinney. Specialties like Molcajete Tapatio or El Jimador Burrito are especially flavorful and more than filling. Specialty drinks are also tasty if a bit more $ than other local restaurants. The hostess, waiting and manager staff are always friendly, attentive and fast responding. A small wait at peak hours is always worthwhile.

Spot on Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I stopped in while on vacation in the area and found this to be an excellent Mexican restaurant. Where they excelled was the service...enough staff was available. Rene was our waiter and he kept up with our drink refills which were frequent. He friendliness came through. My husband had the fajitas and it matched what was served at other Mexican restaurants in Texas. I had the fish tacos and the fresh tastiness was better than I have had elsewhere.

5 star all around.The food came out really fast and piping hot.Brisket tacos to die for.Delicious beans,rice; guacamole and chips and salsa.Affordable.

Wife and I traveled to McKinney Texas. Both of us craved Mexican food. Checked TripAdvisor and saw Cristina’s. We stopped by around 8pm. Wife ordered beef brisket soft tacos. I ordered grilled chicken breast soft tacos. Enjoyed complimentary tortilla chips and salsa before our order arrived. Great flavor. Wife and tried each other’s. Served with guacamole. Refried beans. Guacamole. Excellent flavor. Great service. Nice safe location. Plenty of parking. Off main traffic. Pleasant experience and wife and I appreciate the quality food. Will return.

From the moment I stepped in the door I liked it because of the decor alone. The chips and salsa are hard to beat. Their vegetable taco are very impressive as well as the black beans. The menu is pretty broad and the service is great.
